Darkmatter Security / DSEC

Created as the head Research & Development division by the Scandinavian alliance during the second world war on planet Terra year 1940 measured in human timeline. The main intention of the division was to establish an economical and technological advantage for the Scandinavian region towards the coalitions and independent nations involved in the war.

Not long after the head division was created, it became obvious that to maintain the edge and interests of the Scandinavian alliance, would require information far above what was publicly accessible. This initiated the early stages of the top secret, and heavily government funded “Darkmatter Project”, which was aimed to gather vital intelligence for this specific cause. The Darkmatter Project soon evolved into the most successful, and efficient agency, running high-risk, high-rewarding espionage missions in the top levels of political and military layers of the enemies of the Scandinavian alliance.

After the world war ended, Scandinavia was the most technological and economically thriving region on the planet, and the goal of the allied forces to keep the war away from its doorstep had been a success. By a co-joint government desicion, the alliance decided to stop the funding to the Darkmatter Project and sever all ties with the organisation, to keep the publicly accepted truth of the Scandinavian “war neutrality”.

At that time, the Darkmatter offices consisted of the best and highest decorated scientists, researchers and spies, as well as access to well-filled accounts which the Scandinavian governments had no interests being associated with. The employees themselves took the opportunity, appointed a board of directors, and evolved into a privatley managed security agency known thereforth as Darkmatter Security.
