History
PleaseFounded in 2945, the Deep Space Explorators (DSPX) emerged from the collective vision of a group of seasoned pilots, scientists, and explorers who shared a common dream: to venture beyond the known boundaries of human space and uncover the secrets of the cosmos. The organization was born in the wake of the Second Tevarin War and the Xi’an Cold War, periods when humanity’s focus had been heavily on defense and territorial security. With the stabilization of these threats, a renewed spirit of exploration and discovery ignited across the UEE (United Empire of Earth).
DSPX’s founders, each a pioneer in their own right, brought together a wealth of knowledge and experience from various fields. Among them were former military officers with expertise in deep space navigation, renowned scientists with groundbreaking discoveries, and civilian pilots with countless hours exploring uncharted systems. Their combined passion for the unknown fueled the formation of an organization dedicated to pushing the frontiers of human knowledge.
Initially operating with limited resources, DSPX’s early missions were modest in scope but rich in ambition. The organization quickly gained a reputation for its meticulous planning, cutting-edge technology, and unwavering commitment to safety and discovery. As their successes mounted, so did their membership and resources. The discovery of several previously unknown star systems, such as those revealed during the ongoing exploration of the Stanton system, along with valuable resources and potential habitable planets, solidified DSPX’s standing within the exploration community.
By 2950, DSPX had established itself as a premier exploration organization, boasting a diverse fleet of state-of-the-art ships equipped for deep space travel, scientific research, and planetary survey. Their motto, “Venturing Beyond the Stars, Discovering the Unseen,” became a rallying cry for members and an inspiration to aspiring explorers across the galaxy.

Charter
### Charter of Deep Space Explorators (DSPX)
#### Article I: Name and Purpose
Section 1: Name
The name of this organization shall be Deep Space Explorators, hereinafter referred to as DSPX.
Section 2: Purpose
DSPX is dedicated to the exploration and discovery of uncharted territories within the universe. Our mission is to venture beyond known space, uncovering the mysteries of the cosmos, charting new star systems, and advancing humanity’s understanding of the universe. We aim to foster a spirit of curiosity, adventure, and scientific inquiry among our members.
#### Article II: Membership
Section 1: Eligibility
Membership is open to all individuals who share a passion for space exploration and are willing to contribute to the objectives of DSPX. Members must adhere to the organization’s code of conduct and actively participate in missions and events.
Section 2: Application
Prospective members must complete an application form and undergo a brief interview process conducted by the membership committee. Acceptance is based on enthusiasm, skills, and alignment with DSPX’s goals.
Section 3: Membership Tiers
- Explorer: Entry-level members who participate in missions and activities.
- Navigator: Experienced members who lead missions and mentor Explorers.
- Commander: Senior members responsible for strategic planning and organizational leadership.
#### Article III: Governance
Section 1: Executive Board
The Executive Board shall consist of the following officers:
- President: The chief executive officer responsible for overall leadership and direction.
- Vice President: Assists the President and oversees specific initiatives.
- Secretary: Maintains records, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
- Treasurer: Manages financial affairs and budgets.
- Chief Exploration Officer: Coordinates exploration missions and research projects.
Section 2: Elections
Officers shall be elected annually by a majority vote of the active membership. Nominations are held one month prior to the election, and all members in good standing are eligible to vote.
Section 3: Committees
Committees shall be established as necessary to address specific areas such as recruitment, mission planning, and research. Committee chairs are appointed by the Executive Board.
#### Article IV: Meetings
Section 1: General Meetings
General meetings shall be held monthly to discuss ongoing projects, plan future missions, and address member concerns. Meetings can be attended in person or virtually.
Section 2: Executive Board Meetings
The Executive Board shall meet bi-weekly to ensure smooth operation and address organizational matters. Board meetings are open to all members, but only officers may vote.
#### Article V: Missions and Activities
Section 1: Mission Planning
All missions shall be planned by the Chief Exploration Officer in consultation with the Executive Board. Missions are designed to explore uncharted regions, conduct scientific research, and gather valuable resources.
Section 2: Participation
Members are encouraged to actively participate in missions and activities. Participation is tracked and contributes to eligibility for promotions within the organization.
Section 3: Safety
Safety is a top priority. All members must undergo safety training and adhere to protocols during missions.
#### Article VI: Code of Conduct
Section 1: Respect and Integrity
Members shall treat each other with respect and maintain the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. Harassment, discrimination, and unethical behavior are not tolerated.
Section 2: Collaboration
Members shall collaborate and support each other, sharing knowledge and resources to achieve common goals.
Section 3: Representation
Members represent DSPX at all times and must conduct themselves in a manner that reflects positively on the organization.
#### Article VII: Amendments
Section 1: Proposal
Amendments to this charter may be proposed by any member in good standing. Proposals must be submitted in writing to the Secretary.
Section 2: Approval
Amendments shall be approved by a two-thirds majority vote of the active membership present at a general meeting.
#### Article VIII: Dissolution
Section 1: Dissolution Process
In the event of dissolution, the Executive Board shall oversee the disbanding of the organization, ensuring all debts are paid and remaining assets are donated to a space exploration-related charity or organization.
Section 2: Member Notification
All members shall be notified of the dissolution process and provided with an opportunity to retrieve any personal property or data.
