History

“In 2943 two intelligence professionals left the employ of the United Earth Empire to pursue careers in the private sector.

One was a UEE Marine Force Reconnaissance Officer, and the other, an Advocacy Counterintelligence Officer. Having executed covert missions throughout deep space, these men possess unparalleled experience and contacts in the information security and intelligence community.

Today, rumor has it; they prosper as Free-Operatives. If you have a requirement, if success is critical, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire; -Dyad.”

Dyad maintains a very small, elite, and effective team of Free Operatives fielded in pairs when appropriate. Dyad’s philosophy is that the organization is strongest when remaining small and each Operator is essentially a Free Agent, able to cultivate their leads, contacts, and follow client missions to their logical and profitable conclusion. It takes a highly skilled, and exceptional mature and loyal special operator to be a Dyad Free Operative. Applications are carefully screened on a rolling basis and a seat at the table is a limited opportunity.

Intelligence Handling

DYAD ISA’s high reputation and UEE cleared intelligence operatives deploy across the galaxy, working directly with clients to research, evaluate, analyze, fuse and interpret intelligence from multiple sources. In doing so, they provide current and finished intelligence for products, including risk and threat assessments, protection teams, facility security and ongoing operations.

When there is information to be physically transported over interstellar distances and clients don’t have the time or starship systems to secure it, DYAD Intelligence Operatives use avant-garde starships specifically outfitted to transport the information securely, discreetly, and quickly.

Surveillance & Skiptracing

Within DYAD ISA’s substantial fleet of starships are the most advanced stealth spacecraft in the galaxy. Clients can count on DYAD to perform reconnaissance of asteroid belts and salvage wreckage, monitor communications relays, or follow bad-actors to secretly determine their origins, alliances, or whereabouts. When a client seeks a delinquent party to pay a debt or fulfil an obligation, DYAD operatives utilize intelligence systems, underworld networks, and DYAD’s own substantial database to locate the delinquent parties for their clients.

Hostage Negotiation & Recovery

Increasingly, piracy activity includes hostage taking. DYAD is able to act as a negotiator in these instances using the threat of violence as leverage to negotiate release of hostages with reduced loss of property. If a client requires DYAD rescue and recovery services, they bring to bear the necessary measure of force required to counter the pirate insurgents.

Diplomatic & Private Couriers

DYAD ISA’s performs courier missions in high-risk environments throughout the galaxy. Whether its high level dignitary transport, or important cargo, DYAD gets the package delivered. DYAD maintains clearances, citizenship, and reputation recognition wherever their clients need them to go.

Charter

Dyad is a small, effective, immersive organization focused on Information Security and Assurance.

It is anticipated that there will be no more than 12 members. We’re looking for active (now and at release) individuals who view this organization as their main focus. Affiliate orgs should only be association and networking organizations.

A Role-Play acceptance is required but the main RP element is viewing your in-game character as a persona, and in general, leaving RL issues and chatter out of the game.
