The Eridanus Ascendancy was founded by the now Emperor Giavonni in 2951. The Ascendancy is made up of the ruling families and their houses. Each house has its own autonomous fleet. They protect the Ascendancy and their own boarders. The ruling houses are powerful and each are autonomous and is not subject to behavior restrictions or monetary obligations. These houses are always open to recruiting. The families/houses will always come together to defend the Ascendancy!

Born of war has always taught the wrong lesson. Instead of showing them truth and power. All war has shown the verse is how the Galaxy may die. If you are to truly understand, then you will need the contrast. Not adherence to a single Idea. It is to surrender yourself to the Ascendancy entire. To make yourself a slave to a teaching or beliefs, will only lead those beliefs to always rule you. There is no great revelation, no great secret, there is only your brothers and sisters of the Ascendancy.
The People of the Galaxy only understand it partially. Some of them are even powerful in controlling it. But they fail to comprehend the fundamental nature of the galaxy, that it is conflict. The fact that many organizations exist is proof of this. We fight because that is what we were made to do. But our great Ascendancy is the instrument through which we realize our purpose. The Ascendancy is power made manifest. That is why it is perfect.
The Eridanus Ascendancy is a place of tradition and conviction, set apart from all those who would oppose us. A place where the most powerful rule and those who achieve the most receive the greatest rewards. The reward of victory! That is what sets us apart from our enemy. Conquest is our right. Only the strongest are entitled to everything they claim.
