East Stanton Trading Company LTD / ESTRADECO

Early trade – While the East India Trading Co was granted a royal charter in Dec, 1600 CE and had become a military might of the period before being dissolved by Parliament in 1874 CE. The idea of a corporate entity dominating the supply and demand within a region was far too powerful to ignore.

20th century – While still dissolved the idea lived on, passed down through generations of loyalists and family members the East India Trading Company had been all but forgotten. Geo-political events were making it harder to resurrect a military power while competing against larger more organised strengths such as foreign state powers, the resurrection had to wait.

21st Century – the idea was dead, long surviving families of the East India Trading Company had endured several hardships, world economic collapse, unknown diseases, mandatory lockdowns, dictatorships, the world growing closer to the brink of a new world war. The trail had gone cold, tracking any remaining descendants was gone. The idea, had died…

22nd Century – Humanity branches out and touches the stars and from that, an idea was reborn, The Sol Trading Company was founded, successfully winning the tender to begin trade routes between Earth and the newly terraformed Mars.

23rd Century
2215 – SOL Trading Company ships are fitted with the RSI new engines allowing further exploration of the SOL system.
2262 – Several SOL Trading ships disappear within the Neso Triangle: declared all hands lost
2271 – The Croshaw System is discovered SOL Trading creates a new sub-company, Interstellar Trading Co, which later outgrew its parental company and restructured to become the new head of trade.
2287 – Interstellar Trading Co expand into Rhetor System creating trade routes between the systems once terraforming was completed.
2290 – Nul System trade routes are established marking the aggressive expansion of trade in what is now called the age of interstellar space travel.

24th Century
The interstellar human colonial expansion era begins with the discovery of the Fora, Banshee, Caliban, Oberon, Nemo, Centauri.
2381 – Trade routes are disrupted and pirated due to the unification wars.

25th Century
2438 – Interstellar trading Co begins trade with the Banu race post trade negotiations between UEE & Banu
2468 – Interstellar Trading Co wins transport contract with the Hathor group after winning mining contracts in Nexus.

26th Century
2563 – Interstellar Trading Co calls in debts from Pyrotechnic Amalgamated as the cost of running a trade supply fleet through Pyro becomes dangerous. Pyrotechnic Amalgamated abandons mining facilities later that year.

27th Century
2672 – Debts called in from the Hathor group as criminal activity increased with small ships being stollen. Hathor contract cancelled and debt collected causing the Hathor facilities to be abandoned.
2697 – Trading in the Orion system ceases due to on going Vanduul attacks

28th Century
2712 – Interstellar Trading Company (ITC) sends ships back to Orion after a civilian transport transmitted a message calling for all able ships to stand together against the Vanduul. The battle of Orion begins. Large amounts of ITC ships are destroyed upon the first interaction with the Vanduul kingship. Remaining ships help evacuate civilians before fleeing to Tiber.
2715 – The UEE Government stretched thin with military spending, a letter of marque was extended to the Interstellar trading Company and its subsidiaries offering employment to assist with enforcement of the peace, hunting Vanduul and pirates.
2743 – The system of Vega begins evacuating as the threat of Vanduul invasion increases, Interstellar Trading Comany ships begin swapping out cargo runs for transporting refugees.

29th Century
2851 – Stanton is discovered, Interstellar Trading Company creates a subsidiary, The East Stanton Trading Company is created as the freighter landed for the first time Stanton 1 what would now be known as Hurston facing east.
2871 – The fall of Caliban ITC & ESTC send ships to evacuate civilians and assist in the defence against the Vanduul.
2894 – East Stanton Trading Company builds an office in New Babbage

30th Century
2955 – East Stanton Trading company (EST) take over revenue as the Interstellar Trading Company suffer loses from Vanduul attacks. East Stanton trading company begins construction of a combat ready fleet able to defend against pirates & Vanduul attacks.
September – EST freighters and fighters participate in the Stanton resource drive as pirates attack supply ships, EST hold out against several waves of pirate attacks at the Dupree Industrial manufacturing Facility
EST set up office in Orison, Crusader as a new central hub of operations.
November – EST Aquire first ever heavy patrol gunship through partnership with RSI for first ever non-military use.

2956 – January – East Stanton Trading Company branch into the Nyx system apart of the Alliance Aid mission to combat the Molina Mould infection. A young pilot, call sign “SweetMud” climbed the ranks to Vice-Admiral within the East Stanton Trading Company after engaging a squadron of pirates in a cargo hauler. The relief aid within the ship had been destroyed by fire, but the ship and crew were able to dock safely at Levski after destroying all pirate fighters.
February – East Stanton Trading Co begins trade routes in the Pyro system under heavy escort, expanding its reach and growing military power.
May – Top of the line RSI Polaris is added to the combat fleet becoming the flagship of the fleet.
July – EST engage Xenothreat in the Stanton system, engaging several gunships and Idris frigates. EST collaborated with civilians and small strike teams to eliminate the threat.
