History

Company History:

Founded in 2014 way back cars and trucks were used to transport goods from place to place. The Elysian Trade Company began as a small company of only a few friends just looking to make a living in any way they could. Of course still taking place on earth with interstellar travel only a dream the ETC had no real need for security or means of exploration. The company was based out of a garage with their only advertisement being a small ad in the local paper. It was a slow start for the ETC with a constant struggle in budgeting, overworking, and just simply getting their name out there. There was a general loss of hope throughout the company with the only steady source of income coming in from selling scrap metal and taking on the occasional odd-job it took a while for the company to get anywhere at all.

Once the day came that the ETC finally scraped up enough money to move into a legitimate office building and could afford to operate more than just a few vans to transport goods around things started picking up at a pace faster than ever. Before they knew it that same group of friends that founded the company was soon being flooded with applications and job offers and the company soon transformed from a group of friends running out of a garage to the proud multinational corporation known as the Elysian Trade Company.

The Elysian Trade Company is now one of the biggest and most reliable names in trading, transporting, and mining today. We are happy to take on any job you may throw at us and guarantee that it will be finished in a timely matter. Need something “special” delivered? No problem! No questions asked! The Elysian Trade Company knows hard work. It took us hard work to get where we are today. When you need something at point A to make it quickly, and more importantly, safely to point B, you know the ETC will get it done!

Manifesto

The Elysian Trade Company is as stated a trade and transport company meaning we buy, sell, mine, and transport all goods legal or otherwise. That being said we do not steal or pirate said goods. We transport, buy, and sell goods, however those goods were acquired beforehand is not our business and no questions should be asked. If you need something safely transported come to the Elysian Trade Company and we will get it done.

As a side note if “acquiring” goods is more your lifestyle talk to me personally and I may be able to set you up with a contact I know.

Income:

For each job a member completes you will earn 55% of the income for that job, 30% will go into the company budget for ships, weapons, and things of that matter, and the remaining 15% will be evenly distributed throughout the members of the company and so as long as you are active you will be paid.

Roles:

The main objective of this company is to securely transport other players personal goods, buy and sell different products for profit, mine and sell resources for profit, and we will need a security branch for protecting said operations. We will also be accepting members more geared towards a discovery/exploration role in order to help the company find better trade routes, resource fields, and other ways to increase income.
If any of these jobs sound appealing to you talk to Kaz or another appropriate member and we will assign you to a branch of the company.
We will also need people to help with new recruits and to take and to assign job offers to the appropriate branches.

Keep in mind above all this is not a hardcore company and apart from the two week offline limit there are no rules for how much you have to play. If you have a busy life and can only find time for a few hours a week so be it! as long as you have fun doing so!

Communication:

To make communication easier throughout the company we will all be using TeamSpeak on our computers and for any important messages when anyone is away from the computer we will be using Telegram (Migram on the Windows phone). Once a part of the company I will PM members the information.

Charter

1. The Elysian Trade Company will trade, transport, mine, and sell all and any profitable goods.
2. The Elysian Trade Company does not pirate or steal goods. If that is more your style talk to Kaz Lejion personally.
3. If a member is offline for more than two consecutive weeks without prior notice they will stop receiving income to help keep players active.
4. Damage to personal property during Elysian Trade Company missions will be rectified with proper compensation.
5. Twice a month the Elysian Trade Company may enlist you for a mission that must be completed in a timely manner.
6. If you are not available for any company meeting you may choose a representative of your choice.
7. All Elysian Trade Company employees must present a proud image at all times. add the tag {ETC} before your player name (ex- {ETC} Kaz)
8. Do not engage in any illegal activities whilst on duty (see item 2.)
9. The Elysian Trade Company will protect it’s members to any reasonable degree.

The breaking of these rules set forth by the Elysian Trade Company without specific instruction will result in…
-1 warning for any misdemeanor (1,2,3,5, or 6)
-Fine (amount varies) after warning or for minor Felonies (8)
-Expulsion from ETC after 3 Fines or a Felony (2)
***expulsion is immediate if rule 2 is broken on Company Time***

Special Circumstances are allowed for. Punishment is up to the discretion of the Board of Founders.
