“There’s always another way forward”

History

Endway Interplanetary is a mid-sized, independent logistics and exploration company known for its operations along the fringes of UEE space. Founded in 2502, the company built its legacy on deep-space support and frontier survey work, providing essential supply and data relay services during humanity’s early expansion beyond Sol.

Today, Endway operates a mixed fleet of exploration and cargo vessels, supporting corporate, civilian, and academic contracts across known and unregulated systems. Their crews are recognized for their reliability, discretion, and willingness to operate in regions where UEE infrastructure remains sparse or unstable.

In the beginning:

Endway was established by Dr. Arlen Vance, a former astro-cartographer with the United Nations of Earth, alongside a small group of independent traders and engineers. Originally created to provide logistical support for early deep-space expeditions, Endway’s motto — “There’s always another way forward” — reflected Vance’s belief in perseverance and adaptability.

By the mid-27th century, Endway had transitioned from simple supply operations to full-spectrum exploration support. Company survey teams contributed partial data later used in confirming several jump points, most notably in the systems that would become Kallis and Nexus These contributions earned Endway a reputation as one of the few independent entities trusted by both private explorers and government survey bureaus.

Following the UEE’s consolidation of power, Endway resisted absorption into the centralized exploration agencies. Though this independence cost them several lucrative contracts, it allowed the company to maintain operational freedom. Under the leadership of Lira Vance, granddaughter of the founder, Endway refocused on private exploration, deep-space logistics, and rescue operations in frontier systems.

Modern Operations:

In the 30th century, Endway Interplanetary remains active as a contract logistics and exploration provider, often serving on the outer edge of charted space. The company maintains Endway Field Hubs — semi-permanent outposts used for refueling, data transfer, and emergency support — scattered throughout fringe systems.

Their fleet, made up of ships from Crusader Industries, MISC, RSI, and Anvil Aerospace, are custom-modified for long-range endurance and equipped with state-of-the-art survey and relay systems. Though Endway maintains official neutrality with the UEE, their ships are occasionally sighted operating near Vanduul-influenced sectors, fueling speculation of undisclosed recovery or reconnaissance work.
