Extinction was not a company started up overnight, it was a company that was built through countless hours of consideration and strategy. While we may be young in the industry, our model for growth speaks for itself, and we intend to one day become a leader in trade and manufacturing. Fear is complex…
On one side, it can cause great accomplishments, and on the other it can be the reason for great destruction. There is no courage without fear, and we here at Extinction believe that our brand should continue to inspire and encourage us to push the boundaries of what one company can do for the universe.
Extinction Co. is focused on providing top quality weapons, armor, missiles, and other combat modifications for all interstellar pilots.
At Extinction we believe that success will be determined by the growth of our company and its resources. We intend to build a solid infrastructure of production where we are able to provide most, if not all, of the necessary resources and manufacturing to create goods.
We follow a traditional company structure. We have a strong CEO leading our company into the future and a group of board members dedicated to make sure that we are making sound decisions. There is a management hierarchy with varying degrees of responsibility and a system in place that rewards hard work.
At conception we believed there is a need in the market for a company that can run lean and mean. When we looked at the other companies in our industry we saw that while they may have had a lot of employees, they lacked direction. We think that a structured company can find a niche in the market and continue to adjust to the needs of the market. We intend to always supply weapons of high quality at reasonable prices.
With a focus on the research, development, and production of high quality weapons and other combat modifications Extinction intends to play an integral part of the galactic weapons trade. Future plans include expanding production to encompass other facets of ship modification and ship to ship combat.
We believe communication and hard work are the key to being successful. The CEO will oversee the entirety of the company and will be involved in all major company decisions. Each board member will then manage a different part of the company whether that be; Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, Field Operations, and Legal. Any drastic changes that would effect all employees of the company will go to a vote and all employees will be able to take part in these types of decisions. We will communicate verbally as much as possible through conference calls using Mumble and other services.
Human Resources – Responsible for recruitment of new employees
Marketing – Responsible for media presence and website management
Finance – Responsible for company accounting and employee contribution analysis
Field Operations – Responsible for all on site needs, missions and space ship management
Legal – Responsible for any breach in company policy by employees and creating partnerships with other companies when necessary
The growth of the Extinction will come from the hard work of its employees. When employees take a job they will be paid through an adjustable system. First all costs for the operation will be deducted from the profits made for completing the job. Then a small portion of those funds will go to Extinction Co. as a way of growing the companies fleet, equipment and employee loan resources. The rest of the money will be divided evenly among those who took part in the operation. Any costs accrued outside of these guidelines are the responsibility of the employee to pay and not the company, an example of this would be leasing a ship from another employee for a predetermined amount. The more company resources are used in an operation the higher the percentage will be given to company growth funding. This is the only way to ensure that we can grow our mining, manufacturing and refining operations. The exact percentages of this system is subject to change once better financial analysis can be made. Employee generated profits will be tracked and employees will stand to gain promotions based partly on this metric. Promotions will allow employees greater access to company assets, i.e. better ships, equipment, and borrowing capabilities.
Extinction is currently a Gold Branch member of ReddFaction. As such, we require that all members understand and adhere to the ReddFaction Constitution. Any hostile action taken against allied member organizations or their members will not be tolerated and will be subject to disciplinary action.
As a lawful company we do not condone black market smuggling or piracy. Anyone caught doing these illegal activities while on the clock will be terminated from their position immediately and their access to company resources will be revoked.
As an employee of Extinction Co. it is required to report to work at least once a one week. If you are not showing up to work you may receive a notification. If you do not respond to this notice in a timely manner you will be placed on suspension. During suspension you will no longer have access to company resources. If you are inactive for more than 2 weeks, your position will be considered abandoned and you will be terminated.
Extinction Co. is understanding that in today’s world people may need to have multiple jobs. We accept that our employees may hold positions within other organizations as long as they are not a competitor in our industry. If an employee is found to be working for our competition they will be terminated immediately.
Promotions will be based on job performance. Job performance will be rated by criteria involving the specifics of the job preformed. An example would be a pilot who mainly fly’s escort will be rated on the success rate of his missions as well as the profits those missions have created for the company. Players who increase in rank will have increased access to company resources such as ships they can use or money they can borrow from the company to pay for upgrades.
