Origins
The Fallen Angels began as an elite squadron within the United Earth Empire’s (UEE) Navy during the Second Tevarin War. Officially designated as the 19th Interceptor Wing, they were renowned for their exceptional piloting skills, bravery, and innovative tactics. The squadron’s members were often referred to as “angels” by their peers due to their almost supernatural ability to turn the tide of battle. However, the war’s brutal nature and the morally ambiguous orders from high command led to increasing disillusionment among the squadron’s members.
The Fall
The turning point came during the Siege of Kruger 60, a pivotal but costly battle. The 19th Interceptor Wing was ordered to execute a controversial scorched-earth policy to prevent Tevarin forces from gaining any strategic advantage. This mission resulted in significant civilian casualties, including many of the very people they were sworn to protect. This incident shattered the squadron’s faith in the UEE’s leadership.
Disgusted and broken, the squadron’s leader, Commander Erik “Viking” Ragnvald, decided to take a stand. Refusing to carry out further morally questionable orders, he led his squadron in a defection, a daring and highly publicized event that saw the 19th Interceptor Wing abandoning the UEE Navy and vanishing into the depths of space. Branded as traitors, they became known as the “Fallen Angels.”
Rebirth as an Organization
Now operating on the fringes of civilized space, the Fallen Angels redefined themselves. They became a loosely-knit organization of skilled pilots, engineers, and former military personnel united by a shared disdain for oppressive regimes and a desire to explore the unknown. Operating from hidden bases scattered throughout the Stanton and Pyro systems, the Fallen Angels began focusing on exploration and industrial activities, using their expertise to uncover new frontiers and develop sustainable infrastructure.
Structure and Culture
The Fallen Angels maintain a semi-democratic structure, with major decisions being made by a council of veteran members known as the “Ethereal Assembly.” Commander Ragnvald, although still a central figure, acts more as a guiding mentor than an autocratic leader. This decentralized leadership model allows them to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and avoid the pitfalls of rigid hierarchies.
Their culture is steeped in camaraderie and mutual respect, with an emphasis on continuous improvement and adaptability. New recruits, often referred to as “Neophytes,” undergo rigorous training and are required to prove their commitment to the Fallen Angels’ principles before being fully accepted into the fold.

Introduction:
In a world shrouded in darkness, where inequality reigns and injustice festers, there emerges a beacon of hope: the Fallen Angels. We are not bound by the chains of convention, nor are we swayed by the whispers of conformity. Instead, we stand as guardians of truth, seekers of justice, and champions of the downtrodden. Our manifesto is a declaration of our intentions, motives, and views – a testament to the ideals that guide our actions and fuel our passions.
Embrace the Light:
We believe in the inherent goodness that resides within every individual. Despite the shadows that may cloud our souls, each of us carries a spark of divine light waiting to be ignited. Our mission is to nurture this light, to fan its flames until it illuminates the darkest corners of our world. Through acts of compassion, empathy, and understanding, we strive to kindle the flames of hope in the hearts of all who have lost their way.
Defy the Darkness:

Whether it be oppression, discrimination, or exploitation, we stand firm in our resolve to challenge the forces of darkness that seek to extinguish the light of freedom and equality. We will not rest until every individual is treated with dignity and respect, until every voice is heard and every soul is liberated from the shackles of oppression.
Unite in Solidarity:
We recognize that true change can only be achieved through collective action. As such, we extend our hands in solidarity to all who share our vision of a better world. Regardless of race, gender, religion, or background, we stand united as brothers and sisters in the fight against injustice. Together, we are stronger than any obstacle, more resilient than any adversity. United in purpose, we shall overcome.
Empower the Marginalized:
We believe that true progress can only be achieved when the most vulnerable among us are uplifted and empowered. We pledge to be allies to the marginalized, advocates for the voiceless, and champions of the oppressed. Through education, advocacy, and empowerment initiatives, we seek to dismantle the systems of privilege and oppression that perpetuate inequality and injustice.
Lead by Example:
We understand that our actions speak louder than words. As such, we pledge to lead by example in all that we do. We will uphold the highest standards of integrity, honesty, and accountability in our words and deeds. We will strive to be beacons of light in a world darkened by deceit and corruption, inspiring others to follow in our footsteps and join us in the pursuit of justice and equality.
