History

Fulcrum Cargo and Consulting was originally founded by Marcus Francisco. Francisco, with his trademark macaw, realized the need for a specialized group of skilled individuals who normally would go by such titles as “troubleshooters”, “fixers”, “facilitators”, and “cleaners”. To this end Francisco set about hiring UEE veterans who displayed uncanny initiative, quick thinking, derisive wit, and a good stick. Fulcrum immediately had an impact on several businesses, quickly resolving complex situations leaving few obstacles and fewer witnesses. Fulcrum enjoyed massive success and record profits. Francisco chose this moment to embark on a journey of discovery and departed known space for points unknown, promising to return if he was needed.

  • Fulcrum members will represent themselves honestly in all business transactions.
  • Fulcrum members will conduct themselves with the utmost professionalism at all times.
  • Every member of Fulcrum is an equal and will have equal say (by vote or other means) on all policies and profits.
  • Fulcrum members may always defend themselves.
  • Fulcrum may apply force as they see fit to affect a profitable outcome to a situation as long as no other rules of this code of conduct are violated.

Our code of conduct gives our members a lot of freedom. We are founded on the premise that our members are mature, socialized, fully-functioning members of society. We generally set a minimum age of 25 to ensure the type of individuals interested in joining us are of our own ilk and experience. We all have responsibilities, families, jobs, bosses, mothers-in-law, and a desire to play this game. We want to have fun and hang around with folks who have similar interests to both enjoy the game and share our frustrations. We’re all too aware of the real life responsibilities that pull us away from the ‘verse. Sometimes that merchant filled with ore will just have to wait until you change the diapers. We understand and we’re here to commiserate.

To this end, we set the bar at 25. This is not done to belittle our younger brethren and exceptions have been made in the past.
