History

The Fenrir Korps is a very old Paramilitary Organization formed by Mercenaries that had originally helped the World Summit/UNE during its initial expansion efforts beyond the Sol System back in 2281. The Korps assisted in Transport Security and Scouting services through all of the UNE and UPE eras and had expanded its operations from the Sol and Croshaw System to nearly every system discovered.

In 2546 when the First Tevarin War ended, Ivar Messer established the UEE with himself as the head of government. All Korps Contracts that had traditionally been upheld by the UNE and UPE for nearly 3 Centuries had been suddenly dropped by the UEE.
Initially, the Korps moved to the Pyro system to assist Pyrotechnic Amalgamated but they went bankrupt in 2563.

The Korps seemingly vanished and unofficially disbanded in 2564, however, it was rumored that members brandishing a Fenrir Emblem had been seen delivering equipment to the Newly Incorporated Company Origin Jumpworks in Cologne, Germany during 2749.

In 2851 the Stanton System was discovered and in 2865 the Cash Strapped UEE decided to sell the system to various mega corporations. It was at this time that the first Remnants of the Fenrir Korps began to resurface. The Korps took particular interest in Stanton IV now owned by Microtech. The harsh, snowy, cold climate reminded the Korps of their Ancient Nordic Origins and the large packs of Kopion brought fresh reminders of the Wolf God they carried on their emblems.

The Korps was by this time, however, distrusting of the UEE and decided that it would seek a path of self sufficiency. The Korps would stay to itself, building its own infrastructure, and resource pipeline, sometimes even resorting to taking from others if needed. This was better than being cast aside by the UEE again.

In 2956 the Korps ran into members of the Disgruntled Deadhead Society, an organization of members that had also been cast aside by the UEE before. The Korps assimilated with the Disgruntled Deadhead Society and now serves as one of the organizations support wings.

Manifesto

We are the Warriors of the Wolf God Fenrir. We were once betrayed and chained by the UEE but those chains have broken. We have found a new home of Ice much like our old. We will take what we claim to be ours. We will rally friends to prepare for the end of the UEE. We will build ourselves and our friends alike, providing them with the support that they require. The current flagship is the Idris Class Frigate SF-01 Baldr. Most operations will be executed from this ship. We also work with the Organization Disgruntled Deadheads Society and the Baldr operates as the primary support ship for them. (Usually a Perseus Class Gunship).

Role Playing is strongly encouraged. It helps make the game more immersive and fun.

Members are free to organize game sessions as desired. The Korps current official game time is Fridays 9:00pm US EST. These sessions are usually done in cooperation with the Organization Disgruntled Deadheads Society. You are free to join that organization as well.

This Organization is planned and structured around the idea of an operational fleet. We have ranks, roles, and duties. People can promote and we also like to rotate duties in order to keep things from getting monotonous and boring.

The current flagship is the Idris Class Frigate the SF-01 Baldr. Members will primarily be crewing this ship and whatever craft it is carrying for the mission.
