History
The original idea and trade fleet prospered in 2541, at a small space outpost by the name of I-24, or IronHold. Re-known for its interstellar trading market with other races, the leaders of this outpost are the pioneers of Stella Mercator’s Ideals. The Outpost was created in 2536, early on before the discovery of Tavarians, in the system. Orbiting a moon of Elesium II, by the name of Hongrin(Name referenced to by Humans, not Tavarians), the space outpost received mostly Human and Xi’in (later, Tavrian too) trade. With the early revelation of interstellar economy and trade, the leaders of Ironhold were able to maintain a complex, however surprisingly basic in function trade system. Goods from the Tavarian planets passed through Ironhold in practically every case, besides militaristic fleets and self sufficient star ships. The Private economy of IronHold Prospered.
- 2500-2600
However, with the declaration of Annexation by the current “UPE” government, the IronHold Station became a pivotal point of military success for the forces in the area. The station, now converted to a military outpost for UPE forces, maintained about 2 squadrons of fighters for defense. The station was abruptly overrun by Tavarian raiders in 2542, only to be reclaimed later in the war about three months earth time at the “Battle of Hongrin II”.
At the end of the conflict, the IronHold station was taken by the short-lived “United Empire of Earth” government, and was used for reconnaissance and peace keeping in the system. In 2603, Kor Thal and the newly made Rebellion fleet destroyed the station.

The beginning of Stella Mercator (or Stellar Merc)
Stella Mercator, or originally Stellar Merc, was created by the last surviving member of the IronHold leaders. His name was Connor Voidrop. Fearing the future of inter-space trade was at risk from the arising rebellion conflict, Voidrop created the ideals on paper and implemented them into the group. Originally comprised of about 3 frigates and numerous smaller ships, Stellar Merc traded across the various systems to create a stable foothold for inter-species relations and trade. He died 23 years latter, leading to the demise of Stellar Merc. His ideals and writings on interstellar trade were lost… Until now.
- Fero
FEROS (Latin; The Wild) is us. We are FEROS, and we have taken the original ideas of Stellar Merc and Conner Voidrop to create a new trade Company, self sufficient and working together to spread across the galaxy. This is our goal, and this is the reason we now exist. We work together to survive in the vast coldness that is space.
Manifesto
- The Motives of Stellar Merc are as simple as they are creative:
Make lots of money.
Their is really only one goal of Stellar Merc, and this is it. By creating a strong community of Traders, the inter-space trade system can prosper. There are going to be aggressors (ie Pirates), and by implementing a system of unity and trade fleet tactics, we can fight them.
This is touched upon more in the charter. We view all species as equal, because anyone’s cash is a good as anyone’s other. The Law is our friend (most of the time at least, depending on the cargo c;), and plan to use them.
What is the purpose and overall goal of all this money? Thats up for the group to decide. We can merely suggest routes to travel, the road must be taken by you, Star Citizen.

No one will take or demand tributes from other players. Earn what you wish, keep what you want. Money is payed person per person, not person par group.
4. Depending on relations with other corporations, deals may be created to help secure trade routes or protection(Paying another Corporation/Organization/Etc. to help). PLEASE keep noted on this, impostors are inevitable. Pay dully, stay true to your word. Honour is a large part of the Corporation, and failure to abide by this code will result in termination from Stella Mercator. Which leads to number 5,
5. Remember, you Represent US. Becoming the top trading company wont be easy, but help each other out. Work together and help others. We need to be known, so don’t let others forget us.
THE TRADE FLEET PROPOSITION,
This is the idea that a large number of Stellar Merc ships will travel together in a FLEET. Non other than a TRADE FLEET. This has its various advantages and dis-advantages accordingly. For one, straggler aggressors will fear a fleet of this size. Its a guarantee that 3 ships of varied size and power have better chances than the lone rider. Intimidation is a great key to success. However, large fleets of Pirate raiders will have a hay day, to our dismay. These chances are rare, however, and this leads to an increase in profit, gain, and power. More money is saved on riskier routes, made from protection through ourselves, and the safety in numbers factor. Keep in mind that strategies will be developed for the trade fleet’s routes and unpredictable situations. These, however, are perhaps better not shared to the outside world. This is the Trade Fleet proposition.
