History

Founded under the idea that Freelancers don’t need to be alone, yet don’t need to get rid of their title of ‘Freelancer’. We don’t take sides, we don’t specialize, we only create a center for finding allies and business partners. The goal is to allow Freelancers to have a safe haven from the outside influences that try to ruin a good man’s reputation or force him into exile. To all Freelancers, welcome!

Manifesto

The Freelancer’s Guild was founded under the idea that freelancers should be able to join an organization without having to give up their title of freelancer. The ability to have allies and business partners who understand you in a swiftly changing universe is something that we are trying to achieve. This also reduces the likelihood of being cheated because we are all allies here. While we will take anybody in, we prefer those that have a wide range of experience over those who only do one or two professions.

Note: While we are not a strictly role-playing organization, that doesn’t mean we don’t do it! Feel free to role-play at your own will.

Charter

Just because we don’t specialize doesn’t mean we don’t have rules.

Rule 0: Use jump points, not loopholes
The admins and other high ranking members who are in charge of discipline can still punish those who lie in the ‘grey area’ if the staff deem appropriate. This rule was invented to deal with those who say “Well, technically…”

Rule 1: Don’t scam!
Any man wants to make money, but don’t do it at your fellow freelancer’s expense! It hurts the reputation of the Freelancer’s Guild and all those that hold the proud title of ‘Freelancer’

Rule 2: Be Brothers
This is a brotherhood, not a gang. Don’t push around your guildmates, don’t hold grudges, don’t grief! Brothers fight every once in a while, but they never let that get in the way of their close relationship.

Rule 3: No griefing
The difference between trolling and griefing is that griefers hurt those that they mess with, while trolls just irritate them. Please do nothing at another players expense, and if they ask you to stop, STOP.
