Raider Company is a scalable, self-sufficient mercenary force capable of short-duration strikes and other small-scale military or logistical actions conducted in hostile, denied, remote and hazardous environments.

History

The Federation of Free Companies (FoFC) was founded in October of 2952 by a cadre of experienced leaders of private organizations seeking to create a more sustainable and scalable structure to facilitate the objectives of their individual enterprises. Understanding the need for the Federation to aid in the enforcement of contracts entered into by its member Companies, they authorized the creation of a combat specialized Company known as the FoFC Raiders.

Founded in October 2952 by official mandate of the Federation of Free Companies – Raider Company began with a simple idea – Combine the skill and prowess of elite combat pilots, with the cunning and violence of action of specialized infantry units into a single cohesive unit. Raider Company specializes in short-duration strikes and other small-scale offensive actions conducted in hostile environments. Employing specialized capabilities to observe, seize, destroy, capture, exploit, recover, or damage designated targets; Raider Company lives by the motto “Who Dares; Wins.”

Shortly after its founding Raider Company hit the ground running – almost immediately the company was hired by a well known media personality F3ARL355 (Fearless). F3ARL355 was having security issues while broadcasting and required skilled pilots and soldiers to provide enhanced security for the duration of the stream. Raider Company successfully fulfilled the contract by destroying several stream snipers live on F3ARL355’ TTV channel.

In early 2953 the Raider’s were tasked with seizing a Starfarer gemini that was being held in default from Federation members. The company successfully tracked, interdicted, and seized the Starfarer – returning the ship in working order to its rightful owners.

The Raider’s are currently conducting reconnaissance and security patrols in the Stanton system – providing transitory and static security for federation industrial and freight concerns. And have routinely located and seized assets held in default by debtors to the federation.

ORGANIZATIONAL CHARTER

ORGANIZATION NAME : Raider Company
ORGANIZATION MOTTO : Morte et Fortuna- “Death and Fortune”

Organization Specialty:

The Raiders will provide a platform for cooperative gameplay and facilitate training operations and programs to ensure that our members are highly capable in whatever endeavor they choose to undertake. Bridging the gap between starfighters, and commandos; Raider Company is a scalable, self sufficient expeditionary force capable of short-duration strikes and other small-scale offensive or logistical actions conducted in hostile, denied, or remote and hazardous environments.

Raider Company will be capable of providing full spectrum support to embattled organizations through military, and logistical assistance. Each Raider Company Squadron will be designed to independently, or in coordination provide support designed to observe, seize, destroy, capture, exploit, recover, transport, protect or damage designated targets in austere and non permissive environments.

Organizational Rules of Engagement:

Raider operators will prioritize mission success over adherence to restrictive and codified rules of engagement. At no point in time should the individual operator sacrifice the safety of a team member, the success of the mission or their own safety to accommodate a potential threat while on or traveling to or from an objective. All ROE (if any) will be briefed by operational command prior to the start of a Raider Operation.

While not operating on a sanctioned mission Raider Company members are free to engage any player or NPC who is hostile, about to become hostile, or can reasonably be assumed to have recently committed a hostile act, or is in possession of goods or services wherein the benefit of acquisition would outweigh the risk of acquiring them.

Raider operators are encouraged to use their judgment before opening fire, keeping in mind the following axiom: “The only fair fight is the one you lose”. At the Regiment we dont believe in fighting fair, and we dont believe there is such a thing as fighting dirty. There are only winners and losers.

Expected Equipment Requirements:

Every Raider, regardless of rank, or position is expected to carry at a minimum 1) primary weapon, 1 sidearm, and 1 melee weapon. A minimum of 60 rounds, in addition to what is chambered in the primary, is expected to be carried by every Raider. Your equipment is to be in good working order, (when degradation comes online) and failure to maintain your gear will result in removal from any Regimental combat, or logistical action.

Every member of the Regiment must have a game package, containing at least 1 ship of any grade, price, type or value.

** All equipment requirements are based off current game model and subject to change; it is our current plan to purchase some ships and equipment loadouts w/ organization funds and provide them through game mechanics to our members when and if that gameplay mechanic is added **

Financial incentives:
Members of the Regiment may be financially compensated for participating in any organization sanctioned operations. Members will have access to organization assets, such as specialized craft, equipment load outs and additional personnel to assist in missions and endeavors.

In the Future Members may be asked to commit a modest tithe to the general benefit of the overall organization prior to utilizing organization assets. how the mechanic is implemented will determine the schedule and specifics of the implementation, if it is implemented at all. The funds acquired through this mechanic will be utilized for the acquisition and maintenance of organizational vessels and equipment, and organizational Structures and the defense of those Structures. Additionally they will be utilized to provide a payroll function to org members for conducting operations and duties that may not have a financial incentive attached through game play ( flying support for LAC-S/P ), and the use of NPC crewmen on large capital ships.

The funds will not be used to the benefit of a single member of the organization but to the benefit of all members

This is an opportunity to make friends and better determine where your interests lie. It is also an evaluation time for new recruits, and a time for new members to become acquainted with organization-wide tactics and procedures.

Each Regimental Squadron will be assigned members who are available during that squadron’s peak, or scheduled play times. Organization members will be able to lateral between Squadrons to accommodate changed playtimes. Members of a squadron are typically discouraged from excluding non squadron Raiders from participation, provided they show up on time and squared away; however private squadron training and meeting can take place as is reasonably necessary

*** Simply because a Raider operator is in a certain Squadron or assigned to a specific unit within the regiment does not preclude them from participating in the entire gamut of gameplay that is hopefully available upon release. Members are encouraged to cooperate with members of other Squadrons and participate / assist with their missions, additionally organization assets will be available to members to allow them to participate and conduct gameplay that may be outside the scope of their own private assets. ***
