History
Founding of the Fortis Imperium
The Fortis Imperium emerged as a response to the growing unrest within the United Empire of Earth (UEE), fuelled by the public’s perception of UEE’s incompetence in dealing with external threats like the Vanduul and internal issues such as corruption, bureaucracy, and inequality. On 2712, the UEE failed to protect the people in the Orion system, with Vanduul forces laying waste to Armitage, home to thousands of humans. This was one of many failings of the UEE.
Founded in November 2954, the Fortis Imperium presented itself as a beacon of hope for those disillusioned with the UEE’s governance, offering an alternative vision of safety, unity, and strength. The Fortis Imperium was founded by group of influential individuals, all of whom felt frustrated at the UEE, and could see something needed to be done. Together, they envisioned a greater society, that promoted protection, order, self-reliance, and one that put humanity first.
While the Fortis Imperium is still a very small and new glimmer of hope, through perseverance, and strength, they plan on developing into a large, secure community.
Manifesto
Introduction
The Fortis Imperium resembles a beacon of hope, security and unity. We wish to find people who share similar interests, who would enjoy playing in a hierarchal organisation, with roleplay, combat and chances to make money. All people who apply, must be in the discord before hand, where more information and announcements can be located. We wanted to stray away from typical star wars copy clones, while still remaining similar in principle, with its hierarchy and ethics. We put humanity first, and strive in our experience with diplomacy to resolve issues with other factions. Our military might will continue to grow with new members, with many ships already in our arsenal, such as the Polaris.
Government and Diplomacy
The Fortis Imperium’s main objective is to unite humanity in the galaxy, under one governance. While the Fortis Imperium maintains good diplomacy, we will not hesitate to use military might to obtain this goal. With humanity united under competent governance, we will become the strongest beings in the galaxy, living without fear of safety, and expanding to larger solar systems and distant worlds. No challenge will prove too large for humanity to overcome, with our first order of business to decimate the aggressive and hostile Vanduul.
Current Ideals and Practices
The Fortis Imperium, while being small in numbers, maintains a strong military might. Our main legal practices that we engage in currently, include;
- Bounty Hunting
- Cargo Hauling and Mining
- Medical assistance
- Security Services
These are just our main money making sources, and do not resemble the only stuff we do, with many actives not being listed.
Charter
Rules and Laws
Members of the Fortis Imperium are expected to maintain respectful to all other members within the Fortis Imperium. We will not tolerate trolls.
No IRL politics should be mentioned within the Fortis Imperium. We will not tolerate discrimination or hate speech.
