History

Sathier, a second generation colonist from the Nyx system, was forced to relocate due to Vanduul attacks. In 2946, the Free Skies Colony Initiative was founded. No longer dependent on the authorities of a system to defend or provide for them, a collective citizen effort was started. While they do not have a home yet, they stay alive and off system radars as much as possible by staying mobile and keeping to themselves.

Sathier strongly objects to being the sole leadership voice, firmly believing a council of 5 is necessary to make sure more interests are represented.

While not a democracy, they operate on moralities and democratic-like systems, and strongly dislike any attempts to restrict their freedoms.

All of us are equal and worthy of life, love, and a place to call our own in this galaxy.

Charter

Let it be known this day, on the 26th of February 2946, that the formation of the Free Skies Colonies has been codified by its founding members. We establish all of the following to all members, and ink into law the following Charter as the unalienable rights held by all that uphold our Creed.

- You have a home here.
- You are a brother or sister.
- You will be safe with us.
- We will not purposefully, or with ill intent, seek to cause undue harm to another, unless established under the Eye for an Eye philosophy.
- If you do not obstruct the freedoms of other members, they will not obstruct yours.
- I recognize all colony members as equal under these Rights.
