Founded in 2952 by the veteran pilot CaptQuasmo, Galactic Mining & Transport began as a single-ship venture carving out opportunity in the unclaimed edges of the ‘verse. After decades hauling critical resources through hostile space and mastering the art of precision extraction, Quasmo earned a reputation for unwavering reliability and fearless frontier work. Word spread quickly, attracting miners, haulers, and scouts who shared his vision of a corporation built on grit, integrity, and ambition. Today, Galactic Mining & Transport operates across multiple systems—balancing industrial mining, long-range transport, and contract logistics—continuing Quasmo’s mission to connect the farthest reaches of the stars with the civilizations that rely on them.

As Galactic Mining & Transport grew, Quasmo stepped back from the cockpit and into a guiding role, trusting the company to a small board of proven leaders. Each board member oversees a core pillar of the corporation—mining, transport, security, and diplomacy—bringing firsthand experience to every decision. This shared leadership allows GMT to move fast without losing its identity, balancing ambition with the hard lessons learned on the frontier. Today, the corporation remains true to its founder’s vision, run not by a single voice, but by the people who built it together.
