History

Welcome to Geohound,

Geohound has a long history that started as a way to assist Former or Retired Military Personnel who fell on hard times after the War when the UEE had no longer a high demand for Military Personnel such as:
  • Ground Forces
  • Aerial Forces
  • Naval Forces

Their only source of income was fueled by Warfare leaving highly skilled personnel on backwater planets living on whatever they could scrape together to make ends meet on a daily basis forcing many to resort to Piracy.

Geohound strives to provide a purpose for those without the means to find one outside of the military since many are accustomed to taking any sort of job without questioning them as long as it pays and they are not being hunted just to make ends meet.

In Geohound, not every member was a combatant during the War or even in the Military, to begin with. providing services such as:
  • Logistics and Support
  • Financial Departments
  • Medical Services

Geohound will provide if you can survive the trials to get accepted into the Geohounds, we do not discriminate as long as you can do the job we will not ask questions about your past present, or future this is our policy.
If you were or are still a Pirate or have the Death Sentance in multiple Star Systems that is your business just leave that baggage at the door and do your job and earn your pay is all Geohound asks

Charter

The Geohounds Honor Code

  1. No Geohound shall, while under the employment of a group or individual, commit any sort of violence against said group or individual, unless the employer fails to pay the set amount that was agreed upon by both parties when the contract was signed, or unless the Employer commits an act of violence against the Geohound first. A Geohound shall not commit any sort of violence against their Employer for at least ten days following the end of their contract.
  2. No Employer shall, while employing one or multiple Geohounds, commit any sort of violence against said Geohound(s) unless the Geohound commits an act of violence against the Employer first. The failure of a Geohound to complete his or her job is not grounds to commit violence against said Geohound. An Employer shall not commit any sort of violence against their Geohound for at least ten days following the end of their contract.
  3. A Geohound shall, in no circumstance, violate the terms of a contract they have established with an Employer or another Geohound. If the terms of a contract are violated, all rights and protections guaranteed by this Code are automatically forfeited.
  4. An Employer shall, in no circumstance, violate the terms of any contract they have established with a Geohound. If the terms of a contract are violated, all rights and protections guaranteed by this Code are automatically forfeited.
  5. No Geohound is to pillage or loot any sort of profit from any sort of enemy or settlement unless it is a necessity for survival or if the looting and pillaging are specifically ordered and authorized by an employer.
  6. No Geohound shall, while under the employment of a group or individual, commit any sort of violence against another Geohound under the employment of the same group of individuals, even if ordered to do so by the Employer. Violence against other individuals that are not ordained by the Employer is to be discouraged, though not banned outright. If violence is committed against another individual without the ordainment and/or authorization of the Employer, then the contract can be nullified and voided by the Employer.
  7. A Geohound, while under the employment of a group or individual, has an automatic duty to protect the life or lives of the Employing individual or group, until the contract is up or is nullified or voided by the Employer.
  8. A Geohound may, at any time, declare a contract between an Employer and Geohound null and void, though this automatically means that the Geohound forfeits any profits that were promised to him or her by an Employer. If an Employer had paid upfront, and the job is not completed, then the Geohound has an automatic duty to return any sort of profit that was given to him or her by the Employer.
  9. If a Geohound is killed in action, the Employer is under no obligation to pay relatives, friends, or any other group that comes to collect the payment that was promised to the deceased Geohound, however, an employer may choose to do so if he/she/it deems it necessary.
  10. If a Geohound is killed in action, the Employer, nor any other Geohounds under contract with the same Employer, has any right to seize the property of the Geohound who was killed. If relatives or friends come and can prove that they are related to the Geohound who died in the line of duty, then they may retrieve the belongings and property of the deceased Geohound.
