History

Founding & Mission: GE Hurston LLP was founded by Hurston Dynamics CEO, Gavin Hurston, at the United Earth Empire Conference Center, in Chicago, IL of the Sol system. Delegates from all four known species, represented by over 200 organizations in attendance, sought to build a framework for intergalactic economic cooperation and avoid repeating the competitive currency devaluations that contributed to the Great Intergalactic Depression of the UEE, Banu and Xi’an controlled systems, just after the 2945 attack on Vega II.

GE Hurston’s primary mission is to ensure the stability of the intergalactic monetary system—the system of exchange rates and inter-species payments that enable organizations and their members to transact with regional governments and each other. This is ensured with our proprietary financial modeling system, which utilizes large volumes of economic data, collected through large and medium scale, multi-organization trade operations.

Additionally, GE Hurston frequently participates in direct investment, capital injection low interest lending, with the aim of directly supporting stability prosperity across the verse.

Manifesto

If we desire to defeat our enemies, we must proportion our efforts to their powers of resistance. This is expressed by the product of two factors which cannot be separated, namely, the sum of available means and the strength of the Will. The sum of the available means may be estimated in measure, as it depends (although not entirely) upon numbers; but the strength of volition is more difficult to determines and can only be estimated to a certain extent by the strength of the motives. Granted we have obtained in this way, an approximation to the strength of the power to be contended with, we can then take of our own means, and either increase them so as to obtain preponderance, or, in case we have not the resources to effect this, then do our best by increasing our means as far as possible.

But, the adversary does the same; therefore, there is a new utual enhancement, which, in pure conception, must create a fresh effort towards an extreme. This is the third case of reciprocal action and the third extreme with which we meet.

Who are the enemies to aspiration, progress, peace and prosperity? What is it that stops us from turning dreams and ideas into equitable reality? How do we combat the forces of devastation, plague and famine – many of which are unseen and unknown to the masses? Financial Partner: Prosperity, Strength and Stability of our affiliated organizations is a core concern of the GE Hurston. Individual organization adjustment programs are designed in close cooperation with GE Hurston and are supported by direct financing, parallel investment and ongoing financial support, the latter of which is dependent on effective implementation of these adjustments. In response to the intergalactic economic crisis of 2945, GE Hurston strengthened its investment capacity and approved a major overhaul of its financial support mechanisms, with additional reforms adopted in subsequent years. Position Types:

At GE Hurston, our focus generally falls into three (3) categories: Inter-Organization Banking, continuous Investment of our org based monetary supply, and industrial ventures which form stable income on profit bearing assets or mining leases. With the exception of the first category, each of our efforts consists of frequent small – medium scale operations, which take place multiple times each week and are organized to produce high profits while advancing our theories of economies to scale. While many of our members may belong to multiple organizations, we supply the most effective ships, components and weaponry to our vested members.
With the exception of our banking functions, it is the goal of GE Hurston’s divisions to develop internal financial stability for our organization, not compete with other organizations focused on these categories.
We are a performance based organization.

Investment Leadership: Our organization’s strength lies within its ability to retain the interest of top tier talent, whom both recognize and develop opportunities which may enhance the competitive posture of our partners and affiliates. This category represents our primary focus and strength at GE Hurston, and is limited to partners.

High Frequency (Day) Traders: Logistic strength and is the single most attributable quality of agility and stamina. While our GE Hurston focuses on primarily on large capital investment opportunities, our high frequency (day) traders are entrusted to keep often many millions of UEC in constant circulation, and deliver or pick up cargo and data from our partner organizations. Day traders often belong to multiple organizations, but join GE Hurston for experience and concerted efforts on an hourly basis.

Industrial Specialists: Financial stability and independence are the foundation of endurance and long term success. As a leader in heavy industrial ventures, GE Hurston seeks the best talent to industrialize mining parties & automated mining solutions, as well as farming, with organized and frequent small – medium scale operations. Industrial Specialists often belong to multiple organizations, but join GE Hurston for experience and concerted efforts several times each week.
