We are the embers in the flame of war. We are the hidden gears that move the watch hand. We are the Ghost Nation. We have vested interests in everything in the verse. We are the shadow brokers of intelligence and politics. We are the secret hand, but no one has seen us with their own eyes.
A few small shadow brokers who exchanged information between UEE and some XenoThreat members. Notoriously played both sides, supplying XenoThreat with intel about a convoy heading to a hidden station in the Stanton system and supplying the UEE with intel about XenoThreat’s plans to attack. Once the sides made their move, the brokers made monumental profits by supplying arms to the CDF and XT, selling the intel to the XT, and by salvaging and reprocessing the wreckage of the battlefield.
The unified into the secret society now known as The Ghost Nation. A secret society of freelancers, businessmen, politicians, information brokers, traders, etc. They are a network that only seek to benefit the collective and individual. Today the Ghost Nation members are embedded in all facets of the verse’s society. You will find our members in the UEE, Hurston Dynamics, major ship manufacturers, Pyro gangs, etc. Their eyes and ears are everywhere and they have no permanent home that anyone knows of. Have you ever seen one with your own eyes?
Rumors say the Ghost Nation are a blood-in blood-out society and that anyone that uses network resources against the nation become exposed. Exposed members are often hunted by other Ghost Nation members or by those that the Nation has profited off of as reparations for any damage the Nation has done.
The Ghost Nation is a secret society of people of all castes. Traders, brokers, investors, pirates, manufacturers, politicians, soldiers, and more all make up the Ghost Nation. Some members wear the badge proud, some keep it a secret. We are a Nation with no Frontier. We are the embers that start the flames and the whispers you hear in the wind. We are everywhere at all times.

((This is an RP Org and this section, the “charter” is going to be an OOC explanation of the rules of the society. All of these are explained to new initiates IC once recruited in the game.))
1. Do not expose Nation members unless they are overt with their membership.
2. Never betray the Nation. If you sell out a fellow Nation member or expose the Nation in any way, you will be exiled and hunted.
3. Once you’re a member, you take an eternal oath. Even if you stop working with the Nation, you will honor our rules, or you will be hunted.
4. Active members will meet as often as possible to discuss inner workings of all facets of the verse.
5. The Nation Information Network (GNN) is open to all Nation members, but no information from this should be shared. If you sell any information from the network to an outsider, you must give a cut to the original information holder. Never trade information you gained from the network for free without consulting the original supplier first and getting their approval or deal.
6. Nation members can NOT hold positions of power in any government or leadership in any gangs. The Nation does not benefit from holding power, but from manipulating those that hold power, so that the fallout falls on the power holder and the Nation is never compromised.
7. If you establish a Ghost Nation settlement, it can never be exposed as such to an outsider. They can come to trade, but all identifiers as a GN settlement must be hidden. All GN settlements, capitals, space stations, etc. must be safe havens for GN members.
8. If you see a GN member in help or in need, you MUST help them UNLESS it will expose you as a GN member. If they’re being hunted after exposure, you are not entitled to expose your membership to help them, but may if you choose to.
9. Enemies declared by the Nation are to be killed on sight. Even if it lands you in prison. The Nation will move resources and favors to get you out of prison. Failure to kill an enemy declared by the nation in either the “kill list” or “exile list” can lead to being exiled yourself.
((IRL Politics, religions, drama, etc. is strictly not tolerated. If you are communicating within the GN Discord, Spectrum, or anything, it is treated as IN CHARACTER unless you otherwise note. We do not tolerate IRL racism, sexism, bigotry, political discussion, religious discussion, nationality discussion, etc. This is your only warning. First offense can result in a ban and removal and it will be roleplayed, and you will be hunted/exiled. We all come here to have fun and escape IRL and that brings me to the most important rule, have fun with it all.))
