Welcome to the home of the Gloomstriders. We are citizens that strive to master combat and stealth while exploring the darkest and most dangerous reaches of the Verse.
History
The Gloomstriders began as a group of friends looking to carve out their own place in the ‘Verse. Our gaming experience lies largely in competitive shooters and strategy games. We are a tight-knit group of passionate, active players that zealously uphold our tenets of teamwork, respect, and mastery. Skilled or unskilled, new or experienced, you will be welcome and respected amongst your fellow Striders as we strive to master the game’s various systems, especially combat, and explore the darkest reaches of the ‘Verse, while building a small, but strong, community of passionate, respectful, and reliable people.
Manifesto
Mastery
We will pursue mastery in all things and share our mastery with our fellow Striders. We will seek to advise our fellows and be receptive to receiving such advice from others. In this pursuit of mastery, we will acknowledge that mistakes are not to be ashamed of, but seen as opportunities for improvement. It is this acknowledgement that will guide us to be tolerant and constructive when our fellow Striders make mistakes, whether in-game, or in regards to these tenets.
Teamwork
We will support our fellow Striders despite disagreements, mistakes, or other adversities; we are friends, we are comrades, we are Striders, and we will stand by one another.
Respect
In equal measure towards our fellow Striders as to our opponents and those outside of our community, we will demonstrate unwavering respect. We will stand firm against those who disrespect our fellows, but we will do so in a manner that exemplifies our tenets.
Zeal
We will pursue our goals and uphold the following tenets with vigour and determination. We will strive to be paragons of skill, knowledge, and champions of our virtues that others both inside and outside of our community aspire to.
Understanding
Whether of perspectives not our own, defeat, or criticism, we will accept these things, taking them in stride and learning from them. When in disagreement with someone, we will remind ourselves that a distaste for one’s opinion does not have to mean a distaste for one’s person. Above all, we will accept all of our fellow Striders, and those outside of our community, regardless of creed, colour, sexual orientation, gender, or religion (this is not an exhaustive list).

Uphold the Tenets
Uphold the tenets outlined in the manifesto at all times; our tenets present a baseline for the expected behaviour of all of our members.
Keep it about the ‘Verse
Do not initiate or escalate discussions regarding politics, religion, or other controversial subjects unrelated to the game.
Be Respectful
Hate speech and other derogatory language is absolutely not tolerated and will result in an immediate report and removal from the organization. Otherwise disrespecting members of the organization will be similarly met with termination.
