The Galactic Military Assistance Corporation enforces contracts and provides security where no one else can.

“Never underestimate the resourcefulness of your enemies and you will never be taken by surprise.”

History

The Galactic Military Assistance Corporation was founded by General Yvonne Masters in the Year 201 pC (Post Consolidation), more widely known by her nickname “Zeta”. She was killed in the Battle of Nexus (204 pC), while defending an orbital ansible platform from marauding pirates. Her second in command, Colonel Kyle “Vector” Blackburn assumed the role of General of the GMAC. In honor of General Masters, Blackburn instituted the tradition that all future Generals of the GMAC would be henceforth called “VectorZeta” as their primary call sign.

Manifesto

The goals of the GMAC are to provide a secure and stable environment for trade across the galaxy. To keep the trade routes safe, we pledge to engage in no criminal acts of piracy or smuggling, and, for a fee, the GMAC will escort any cargo or passenger vessel that requests protection along the space lanes. The GMAC will also assist both publicly and privately owned companies in the enforcement of contracts, within the limits of local law.

Charter

1. Never break a contract. All contracts must be followed through once payment has been confirmed and received. Failure to do so will result in forced remuneration of payment to the client(s), plus punishment determined by a superior officer.

2. Obey local laws. To keep the GMAC a legitimate organization, law-breakers will be terminated and given over to local law enforcement.

3. No acts of piracy will be tolerated, up to and including unprovoked attacks on civilian or unaligned vessels without prior authorization from the General. Violators will be banned from the GMAC and destroyed-on-sight.

4. Human trafficking is absolutely forbidden. Violators will be banned from the GMAC and turned over to local authorities pending judgement.

5. The purchase, sale, possession, or transportation of stolen goods is prohibited. Contraband will be confiscated and the offender will be banned from the GMAC and turned over to local authorities pending judgement.
