The 5th Gunpowder Pact / GPCT

Good and evil are never clearly, and can never clearly be defined as black and white and while that is truthful a persons being good or evil depends all on point of view. We therefore remain neutral in most conflicts involving war, petty politics, or piety and do not judge, but simply exist to protect the disenfranchised and the downtrodden.

It is simple, we /are/ mercs, but we do not work for the highest bidder. We work for those who cannot stand for themselves and are in times of need. In the face of tyranny and oppression we stand at the gate.

First rule of the GPCT is to allow an ample amount of anonymity to our patrons and clientele. Mums the word, and we share no operation information about who we work with, with the outside nor do we disclose the information of those who use our services. Infractions of this magnitude will be investigated and those responsible will be held accountable for disclosing information to oppositional parties.

Second rule of GPCT is never to accept contracts for personal monetary or political gain. We do not work for free, but we do not sell out. Doing so is grounds for expulsion.

Third rule of GPCT is to never to take what isn’t given. We act solely for the benefit of our clients, and are neither pirates nor extortionists.

Fourth rule of GPTC is less of a rule and more of ideaology, and that is to always ask questions first- knowing is half the battle and remining ignorant to shoot first is against what we stand for. We will not become the oppressors.

And the final, Fifth rule Is to always finish the fight. Desertion is betraying your neighbor and betrayal opens gateways for mistrust, drama, and unnecessary future problems undealt with if you do not see a contract to the end at the best of your abilities. Even if it means potential failure, we follow-through a fight beside one another to do so.
