The First – Enabling our members uncompromised focus on their skillsets, honing them until deadlier than any near-peer adversary could hope to match.
The Second – Creating a series of hierarchal command structures that can rapidly communicate, analyze and respond to developments on the battlefield. A Ground-Air-Logistical Task Force (GALTF) that allows for constant uptime in battle, without the lulls other organizations suffer as they regroup after regeneration cycles.
Gravity Spark’s operations now extend across all three systems – wherever clients need protection, and wherever new operators need a home. Each system demands different doctrine: a cargo run through HUR-L1 in Stanton is not a cargo run through Ruin Station in Pyro, and neither is a transit through Levski under People’s Alliance jurisdiction. Our operators train for all three.
When services of this caliber are so affordable, every citizen – in Stanton, Pyro, or Nyx – can afford peace of mind.
Whether you want to ensure your org vs. org battle is free of outside interference, or your race is free of harassment, Gravity Spark offers a full complement of support services for any event that may require them. Whether you need respawn points, a full fleet of spacecraft, anti-air artillery or infantry – we can provide what you seek.
You spend hours mining, trading, or salvaging without incident, but one interdiction by nefarious forces and you can lose so much it wipes hours of work from your account. No more. Cargo convoy escort – intra-system runs and interstellar jump point transits. Never leave port without combat support to ward off any malicious forces that your wealth could tempt.
Stranded on a moon or planet without transport? Pinned under heavy fire, without hope of escape? Perhaps you were hit in combat, and are now seriously injured, or incapacitated. Regardless of your circumstance, Gravity Spark will come rescue you. Fighting off anti-air artillery, bounty hunters, criminal scum, or even other citizens to arrive at your location and evacuate you to safety.
Gravity Spark’s specialized GALTFs are capable of reinforcing the units of clientele, securing landing zones in hostile territory, or repelling and destroying enemy forces. We do this with a variety of spacecraft, ground vehicles, and weaponry – all tailored to the situation at hand.
1 This list of prohibited actions is being released so the citizens of the ‘Verse may report Gravity Spark members for disciplinary action if they breach these regulations. This is not a comprehensive list of Gravity Spark’s expectations for its members – the full Code of Conduct is published at gravityspark.org/doctrine/code-of-conduct.
Gravity Spark is structured as a corporation. It has an Executive Board, each member holding a position of leadership or special oversight of one section of the organization. Some board members lead a branch of Gravity Spark’s operating forces. Others oversee a specific functional area of Gravity Spark’s operation – such as marketing, recruiting, training, or partnerships.
Within each branch (Infantry, Air Wing, or Logistical Corps) of Gravity Spark’s structure, multiple sub-units are led by Senior Partners. Each sub-unit lead is responsible for ensuring the skills of their sub-unit are finely honed – on both an individual level, and as a team.
Branches are the major units that make up Gravity Spark’s operational combat elements. Three branches: Infantry, Air Wing, and Logistical Corps. Each branch contains multiple sub-units organized by specialization.
Within each branch there are sub-units. Sub-units allow members to hone a specific specialty within the broader mission of the branch. Infantry sub-units include small-arms specialists, armor crews (tanks and IFVs), combat medics, and breach-and-clear teams. Air Wing sub-units include fighter pilots, gunship crews, dropship operators, and anti-air specialists. Logistical Corps sub-units include cargo specialists, miners, salvage and repair engineers, and fuel and ammunition supply chain managers. The exact roster of active sub-units evolves as Gravity Spark grows – some specializations require minimum sub-unit headcount to be tactically feasible, and those sub-units are in formation until they reach that threshold.
Task Forces are purpose-built teams assembled for a specific operational purpose. Task Forces are typically led by their creator – the member who proposed the task force and articulated its tactical value. There are few roadblocks to become a Task Force leader; almost any committed Spark can become one. To be appointed a Task Force lead, a Spark must be at least an Associate, must propose a purpose-built team and articulate the tactical advantage it would pose in a combat operation, and must have members willing to join as the Task Force gets on its feet. This is how new capabilities get incubated inside Gravity Spark – from the bottom up, by Sparks who see an opportunity and have the support of their peers.
Gravity Spark publishes its operational doctrine library at gravityspark.org/doctrine. The library covers mission planning, comms standards, engagement rules, branch-specific SOPs, and the org bylaws. Clients can review what we do before hiring us. Prospective Sparks can see the standards before applying.
