“No job too big, no task too small – Call the guys in overalls!”
Disgruntled Terra Mills employee Richard Charles was at his limit. Over the years he saw those experienced in his chosen trade of custodial engineering being cast aside in favor of cheap, minimally trained labor. Determined to prove the value of a skilled tradesman, he ended his tenure at Terra Mills and founded General Services 700 in 2943. Rick Charles made a name for his fledgling company by pairing bold claims with short contracts, persuading prospective clients that it was worth the low risk to put him to the test.
8 years later, it remains a modest company that prioritizes skilled tradesmen over a bloated workforce. Now expanding into natural resource acquisition and industrial transport, General Services 700 enjoys success bolstering operations and providing logistical support across the entire Stanton system.
The elite and educated hold no monopoly on craftsmanship.
General Services 700 strives for excellence, no matter how menial the work may be. That excellence translates to increased productivity, and reduced workplace incidents. We challenge conventional wisdom; we challenge the standing cost-benefit analysis.
Invest in the skill of the individual. Reject the churning faceless expendable workforce.
The whole machine benefits when even the lowliest cog has sharpened it’s teeth.
