So, make your decision. You want to be the nachos or do you want to be the soulless husks of neglectful parents who let their children become orphans due to poor hygiene and lack-luster middle-school education?

History

Once upon a time, in the far off land of Cosmic Rift, there was a group. The Messengers. They were a crack-squad (or cracked-out depending on who you asked) of elite (and some not-so-elite) pilots who roamed around the forest looking for fights. And by “Forest” we mean “Universe.” And by “Fights” we mean “Hunting & Tracking bunches unsuspecting traders and miners to pillage, intimidate, harass, and otherwise be an overall nuisance to”. Ok, so those things aren’t even remotely alike, but that’s the past. Eventually, the fleet came together in a more organized and purposeful fashion. Oh, the Messengers still pillaged and plundered, but we realized that picking on the defenseless wasn’t nearly as fun as picking fights with whole groups of heavily armed and armored players.

From this was born the foundations of camaraderie, and a twisted sense of fair play that many of its numbers carry on to this very day.

Eventually, as with all things, the time in Cosmic Rift passed, and many of the Messengers moved on. Some found our way to DarkSpace and found ourselves having moved from a home full of brothers and sisters to a new universe, and thus we began again. Only, instead of resurrecting the Messengers, some of us found a new fleet. The Space Warriors.

Enter: S.W! The Space Warriors stood for many of the same ideals that the Messengers had come to stand for, except with one important differentiation. We had more cheese, and beer, and somewhere along the way we seemed to have misplaced our pants. We were still full of elite (and still some not-so-elite) pilots. Most importantly, we also picked up new friends and allies. The Space Warriors became more of a home to us than the Messengers, though that is where our hearts still lie, that was the past, and this was the future.

That future is now the past, and we find ourselves upon a cusp. Here we stand, at the dawn of a new era. We came from different places and fought for different things, but now we are united under one banner: Space Warriors. We will hold true all of the ideals that brought us together in the first place. We will pillage, we will plunder, we will assault, decimate, and at the same time we will defend. We will trade for what we need and take what we want at the same time, giving our all and our lifeblood for our friends, allies, and for our family – we will go to the end of the universe, and lay waste to all who block our way.

Where will you stand?

Manifesto

Space Warriors was founded on simple ideals. Your fleet is your family, and you fight for your family. We will not hold back, we will not hesitate, and we will not stop.

Brotherhood, camaraderie, cheese, beer, and pantslessness. These are the creeds by which we live. We don’t care who you are, where you’re from, what you’ve done and who you’re running from. If you’re an S.W you’re family, and like they say: The family that raids together, stays together.

This is not a happy-go-lucky law-abiding fleet. We will raid, pillage, maim, destroy, and otherwise cause general amounts of chaos and mayhem.

Our manifesto is simple. You will not betray your family. You will not disobey our Dear Glorious Leader Tiger Blood (I swear to you he made that up himself!) or those who he appoints over you. Oh yes, we do have a structure! It’s simple, but effective. Everyone will get a say, but that doesn’t mean we have to follow it!

Lastly, and the absolutely most important element of this fleet. If you’re not having fun in Space Warriors, then something is wrong! We’re here to fly together, laugh together, and generally make a ruckus in the Universe at large. We are all here to have fun, and we are all here to accomplish our own goals. That is what the Space Warriors are here for. That, and to fly around in really cool ships with pirate flags and skulls on them!
