Welcome to Glyndwr Consortium
“At Glyndwr Consortium we strive every day to push the limits in the ever high stakes business of space industry & exploration while also providing the best security apparatus available both during Terran operations and in Space.”
Glyndwr Consortium, founded in 2929, came to be after the merger of two major companies, GLYNDWR HEAVY INDUSTRIES & GLYNDAWR SECURITY SYSTEMS, which now operate in unison with unified tasking and management.
-After years of academic work and struggling to incorporate his designs into a coherent idea, he was hired not soon after graduating from the Engineering academy on Cassel by one of the premier aerospace industry companies, Aegis Dynamics. His advanced knowledge in sensors and data integration, which he had studied during school, allowed him to advance to the head of Engineering department in his early thirties and accomplished many advancements within this field. However as Aegis Dynamics began to lose Military contracts to newer designs like Anvil Aerospace, he began to work on new advanced system on his own time, research his employer would not allow him to do. His private work began by designing new data sensory integration systems that functioned both in the expanding field of exploration and the field of advanced space early warning systems. His private work soon encouraged him to take his small accumulated fortune, and with the help of his family he founded Advanced Sensory Systems where he then developed software programs to better integrate data streaming within larger fleets with less lag and delay. By developing new software along with newly designed semi-floating memory banks, his success in this area led to the purchase of Advanced Sensory Systems by Aegis Dynamics, his former employer. After Advanced Sensory Systems disappeared into the bowels of the giant company, he began to hone his entrepreneurial spirit, and after making a major breakthrough in his private lab involving tripling the amount of data that could be transferred, he founded Glyndwr Heavy Industries five years later in 2922. This company took further steps forward as he further developed new systems in fleet data integration by designing new software and hardware that facilitated sensor designers like the well known WillsOp, to better deploy their sensor suites in small as well as larger capital ships. It was this patent that brought the Glyndwr family fame and fortune as their software systems expanded in use, slowly making their way into the systems of new Exploration and Military vessels. His Early warning system software allowed sensor designers to link data almost instantly even over extended distances. By modifying the early warning software and hardware he was able to branch into exploration through the design of newer software and hardware a further patented new techniques. His program has now become somewhat well known by sensor designers as a more user friendly system for exploration whenever data interpretation and integration is involved, especially on larger Freighters and deep space exploration vessels. The expansion into actual deep space exploration and mining has given*Glyndwr Heavy Industries* even further diversification as they began to yield a fleet of heavy and light industrial ships. It was this diversification that has allowed them to further fund development, and allows them to test their latest software and subsystems directly themselves without the need for contracts or third parties. It was this diversification that has given Glyndwr Heavy Industries a head start in today’s space exploration and mining world as many companies now purchase data systems directly through the company. The company also uses its fleet by funding scientific exploration missions and handles all cargo and shipping with its own vessels securing against corporate espionage. With this success Glyndwr Heavy Industries is now able to specialize in in all your mining, exploring, shipping, and production needs. Having developed countless patented subsystems and software for space exploration and sensor suites, as well as yielding an advanced fleet in deep space exploration and mining, Glyndwr Heavy Industries continues to push the limits in the ever high stakes business of space industry & exploration.
-*Glyndwr Security Systems* is also associated with the same founding family as Glyndwr Heavy Industries. During his sons early teens, he was tasked with running and administrating the Glyndwr Heavy Industries security office. However it was not until he left the company to serve for the Military that he was able to take his new knowledge and begin to implement it with what he had learned early on working for the security office and the Military. He soon discovered that his military contacts allowed him to hire the most experienced associates and soon was able to begin to fill a large needed niche within the exploding security sector. Glyndwr Security Systems was soon employed by Glyndwr Heavy Industries to protect its vast assets and fleets, and the two companies became mutual partners. It wasn’t until Glyndwr Heavy Industries* expansion into shipping and exploration that Glyndwr Heavy Industries was able to purchase Glyndwr Security Systems and formed the Glyndwr Consortium. By merging the two companies under one management they were better able to deploy assets and security personnel while still allowing for relative autonomy within the two Sub-Companies. Glyndwr Security Systems now specializes in high stakes Paramilitary Security with a broad range of missions and abilities both for private companies as well as Government contracts, Glyndwr Security Systems can undertake System security check points, space interdiction, space superiority, as well as their well their well renown Escort duties and Corporate security. Developing out of the need to provide security to the successful Glyndwr Heavy Industries, Glyndwr Security Systems operates every day to provide the best security apparatus available both during Terran operations and Space.
