Hyperspace Exploration, Logistics, and Interstellar Operations Specialists

History

HELIOS was founded in 2954 by three pilots with a simple idea: build an org around getting things done and having a good time doing it. No rigid command structure, no attendance mandates, no pressure to perform. Just a capable crew that could run clean ops across combat and industrial gameplay without turning the game into a second job.

The org has grown steadily since then — a wider fleet, more game loops, more members — but the core hasn’t changed. In early 2956, HELIOS launched a dedicated website at helios-sc.com as a home base for recruitment and org information. Leadership is still the original three, still running things the same way they always have.

Manifesto

HELIOS is a multi-role org built around two things: running solid operations and flying with people you actually like.

We cover combat, industrial, salvage, logistics, crafting, and combined arms ops that blend all of the above. We’re structured enough to run things smoothly and relaxed enough that nobody’s sweating the small stuff. When an op kicks off we start on time, run it clean, and laugh about whatever went sideways after.

We’re not chasing size or rankings. We’re building a crew with the right people — ones who can shift between focused and laid-back without losing either, who share what they know, and who don’t make the game worse for anyone else.
No piracy ops. No griefing. No drama. Good people, good runs, good time.

If that sounds like your kind of org, there’s room in the formation!

Charter

HELIOS operates on a short list of principles. They’re not complicated.

Respect —

Treat members and other players with basic respect. No harassment, hate speech, or targeted behavior. This applies in-game and off.

No griefing —

Members are free to pursue their own gameplay. Using the HELIOS name to harass or ruin someone else’s experience isn’t tolerated.

No cheating —

No hacks, exploits, or real-money trading. Play the game.

No piracy —

HELIOS does not run official piracy operations.

No drama —

Disagreements happen. Handle them like adults, privately if possible. Escalate to leadership if needed.

Participation is opt-in —

No activity requirements, no mandatory ops, no pressure. Play when you can, how you want.

Leadership has final say — On rule interpretation, disputes, and org decisions. If you have an issue with a call, bring it up through the right channels.

Most important rule: Make sure to have fun and don’t ruin it for others!
