BUILT ON INDUSTRY FORGED IN THE FRONTIER
OUR HISTORY
The Frontier Industrial Corps (FIC) was founded in 2947 by a coalition of independent captains, engineers, haulers, miners, and industrial specialists who shared a common belief:
The frontier is built by workers — not politicians.
In the outer systems beyond the heavily patrolled trade lanes of the UEE, survival often depended on the people willing to do the hard jobs others refused. Independent crews traveled dangerous routes through unstable sectors, mining hostile asteroid fields, salvaging wrecks abandoned in deep space, and delivering critical supplies to isolated settlements across the frontier.
In those early years, FIC was little more than a loose network of prospectors and cargo operators working together for mutual survival. Crews pooled resources, shared intelligence on pirate activity, and escorted one another through dangerous jump routes where law enforcement presence was thin or nonexistent.
As the frontier expanded, so did the threats.
Pirate syndicates preyed on civilian convoys. Corrupt corporate interests exploited remote colonies. Salvage crews disappeared in unclaimed sectors without anyone coming to investigate. Too many innocent pilots, workers, and settlers were left vulnerable.
The captains who would later form the Frontier Industrial Corps made a choice:
FIC would not simply build the frontier.
FIC would defend it.
What began as industrial cooperation evolved into an organized civilian coalition capable of conducting:
Mining operations
Salvage recovery
Cargo transport
Personal and priority deliveries
Infrastructure support
Search & rescue
Armed convoy escort operations
Emergency frontier defense
Today, the Frontier Industrial Corps operates across multiple systems with a modest but capable fleet of industrial, logistics, and security vessels. While not officially aligned with the UEE military or any major corporation, FIC has earned a reputation as a dependable and heavily armed civilian organization willing to answer distress calls where others will not.
Though industry remains the backbone of the Corps, every member understands one simple truth:
In the frontier, survival depends on standing together.
FIC crews are known to defend civilian shipping lanes, protect vulnerable outposts from pirate raids, assist stranded pilots, and escort industrial convoys through high-risk territories.
To many on the frontier, the Frontier Industrial Corps represents more than a business organization.
It is a symbol that ordinary citizens can still protect one another beyond the safety of the Core Worlds.
