Inspired by the launch of Voyager Direct in 2898 as a way to ease transporting of goods throughout UEE space, Masane Hahshimoto founded Hashimoto Industries as a way for businesses and individuals to ship goods from system to system. After many years of success, operations expanded into passenger transporting and even resource procurement.
