History Manifesto Charter

History

The Heralds of the Umbra Sun are a small group of 28+ year old’s who enjoy playing games together. We are open to affiliation, we play casually but often, and I would like to think we are pretty decent at the game. We typically enjoy calm, respectful atmospheres and non-dramatic people, but we do occasionally get vulgar or immature, so fair warning. Some of us have children or various other priorities that will often come before any responsibility to the organization, although we will all do our best to maintain the organizations standing and well being. That being said, we, being of relatively sound mind, usually accomplish wonderful things when we work together. It is in this spirit that I founded this organization. I do not feel it is necessary to nail down a style of game play, or to have a set mission. I only want to involve myself and my fellows to a peer group that is willing and able to have a good time playing a great game. If we sound like people you think you might get along with, just send me a tell. There are no requirements of any kind other than some general common sense issues found on our charter page. Thanks, and whether you sign up with us or not I hope we get to have a good time playing together at some point or at the very least, that you’re not my enemy! Manifesto

No set agenda as of yet. The organizations capability to run a large plethora of operations will depend upon the amount of members or affiliates present when the persistent universe arrives.

Heralds of the Umbra Sun – Member Guidelines

Don’t get over-emotional – This is a game. We play for fun. There is no reason for unnecessary drama and it will not be tolerated within Heralds of the Umbra Sun.

Be yourself – I don’t care if you live with depression, anxiety, a club foot, or you’re a twelve foot tall talking gorilla; when you are a member of the Heralds of the Umbra Sun, you should be yourself. I want real people on my team, not actors.

IRL is important – Real life is important, more important than video games and more important than the Heralds. Please respect those that need to spend time with their families, seeking better employment, or with any other activity they choose to do.

Be Respectful – Treat others the way you’d want to be treated. Unless, you like being treated like an asshole, then just leave. Treat all your fellow members and our allies with respect.

No Assholes Allowed – We each already have our own and one each is all you need.

Do your Best! – Sometimes you will fail, but all that will ever matter to the Heralds is whether you gave it your all or not.
