Heavenly Shadow Corp.
We are looking for players that are laid back.
We hope to form a diverse group of players that enjoy a wide range of activities.
We hope to make a community of friends and a place where outsiders can turn to us for help.
This group will be combat oriented!
So my friend you might find yourself asking what is this Heavenly Shadow Corp.? Where did they come from? And why is their name whispered almost silently amongst the stars…
Well it all started in the dazzling light of a long lost star, A small team of fighters flocked around the Midnight’s Prism a constellation class space craft researching the strange and highly unstable star called Heavens Light.
The star bore no planets and drifted though space giving of brilliant light that seemed to dance along its edges with every color imaginable. It was this light that drew the research team and with it our young heroes to this place.
The team spent many months studying Heavens Light learning its deepest secrets…
A light fighter escort floated silently in formation around the ship. There had already been a number of small skirmishes between them and a small group of outlaws know as the Ripfan seeking the rare and valuable tech the Midnights Prism was using to analyze the strange star.
Science vessels like the Midnight’s Prism were known for being high value targets and its launch had not gone unnoticed, The Ripfan had tailed them from their last port and been harassing them for months but so far they were not willing to risk an all out fight.
It seems that time was not a luxury the Ripfan could afford. Mr. Birsail leader of the fearless group protecting the Midnight’s Prism sat in his 300i with his feet up on his dash basking in heavens light and enjoying the peace and quiet that enveloped him, a peace that was disturbed by a calm female voice. Warning Warning unknown vessels approaching
Another raid it seemed was coming and a rather large one by the looks of it. Brisail started fastening himself in as the ship started to hum and come alive around him. Screens flickered on the gyroscopes in his instruments started whrilling up and a large number of red dots started to appear on his radar, a lot more than he had been expecting in fact.
Brisail started to bark out orders across the comm line.
“Remove all weapon and countermeasure safeties & activate passive targeting! Prepare to switch to active targeting and fire on my mark!” “I want 3 tight formations in close to protect the Midnight’s Prism and squad 13 to circle around and hit the Ripfans ships from behind bring em a bit of bad luck for us!” As he removed the safety on his weapons system his ship confirmed she was ready for combat with her normal calm Warning warning Weapons Hot, Shields 100%, Tracking & Targeting Radar Online Hostiles Inbound
The red blips started to close in on them as squad 13 slipped away, Their ships fitted with the latest in stealth armored plating and counter radar systems made gliding unnoticed around the incoming attack wave child’s play. Once they armed their missiles and opened fire though that would all change they need to get far enough behind them to be able to launch their attack and cause confusion but still get away. Flashes of light and muffled explosions reverberated though their hauls, a strange experience while fighting in space. But being this close to the odd star called Heavens Light there seemed to be enough matter floating around to hear some of the battle…
The Ripfan came screaming in, in tight formation looking to scatter and drive off the Midnight’s Prism’s protectors only to find a wall of missiles Screaming toward them. The group protecting the Midnight’s Prism had targeted and launched everything they had in an instant creating a terrible chain reaction of explosions that destroyed a large portion of the incoming wave & sent shrapnel into any of the ships near by that happened to survive the initial blast. An explosion that was dwarfed by what came next…
The radiant light that seemed to dance with brilliant bright colors across their ships and in their cockpits shifted… The light became darker almost sickly looking for a moment before flaring up so fast that Mr. Brisail’s ship struggled regulate the blinding light. A shock wave ripped though space Warning Warning Unknown Anomaly, Auto Pilot Engaged Starting Warp Proc… A second wave ripped though space, The reinforced glass of the Midnight’s Prism’s flight deck shattered from the impact as the haul was scorched by intense heat incinerating the flight crew member as they were sucked into space. Mr. Brisail felt his ship start to shift as it began to warp but he knew that he had no chance, everything ended a second later everyone was cut down by the wave of raw energy that ripped from the star as it blinding light went out. Only a few survived the destruction wrought by Heavens Light now known as “Heavens Fall”, 4 ships from Squad 13 managed to auto warp before the wave struck.
A number of years passed and the few surviving members of the end of Heavens light had earned enough money to enlist the help of a salvager to help them reclaim The Midnight’s Prism as well as a large number of the other ships left behind from the battle.
The former leader of Squad 13 know by the handle “Darkravens” looked on in awe as a massive Reclaimer class ship lowered the scorched shell of the Midnight’s Prism into their hanger. This ship was to be the starting point for the surviving members of Squad 13’s own endeavor They would rebuild her and make her stronger and better than she ever was before. The ship so many of their friends died trying to protect would become their flagship, The flagship of the Heavenly Shadows corp…
What we are as an organization:
1: A group of people who chose to have fun playing socially together rather than on their own. We are laid back and enjoy a wide range of activities that we perform in good spirit and sportsmanship.
2: We have each others back. We chose to build ties together in the game and if one of us calls for help, anyone that can be of assistance will do what he can to help.
3: We also chose to band together because as a group, we can achieve funnier and greater things than we otherwise would alone. We intend to leverage our individual skills and numbers to take on challenge that we as a group want to tackle.
How we manage ourselves as an organization:
1: All our members are free to perform any activities they want as long as it doesn’t contradict our charter and does not put the whole org in danger (if you have a death sentence on twelve systems, HS Corp. will not bail you out ever 5 min)
2: Some members are designated leader on a particular topic. They act as Subject Matter Expert on that area. When a party is formed, they can act as practical squadron leader in order to insure cohesive action on the field.
3: We band together as equal members in the group. If there is a dispute between members or a disagreement on strategy, leaders can step is as arbiters to find resolution and move forward.
How we organize our finance:
1: The org does not collect a regular or percentage based tax from the members. What you earn on your own completing missions is your money and belongs to you alone.
2: Members of the group can choose to donate some of their hard earned credits, for the greater goal of buying a capital ship for the org that we will operate as a team when we need it (and because it is cool!)
Here is what we are looking for in fellow Members.
If a few or all of these apply to you send us a request.
