History

Founded in SEY 2658 as a response to growing security concerns in the Nyx system, the Levski Hussars were originally a band of desperate ex-UEE navy pilots determined to defend their home. It has since grown into a mercenary-security force of renown, reaching far across human-colonized space and operating in numerous capacities beyond home-territory defense, including Salvage and Cargo Transport operations.

Manifesto

The Levski Hussars stand against tyrants, mercantilists, and all those who would leverage their power or so called “authority” against the common man. We stand against UEE expansionism, and stand as proof that the border systems can maintain peace and security without UEE interference.

Charter

1. A Hussar shall not accept contracts that endanger civilians, be they UEE, Independent, or non-human.

1.a. “Civilian” is defined, for the purposes of this bylaw, as an unarmed, unwitting non-combatant.

2. A Hussar shall not endanger the neutrality or prosperity of the Nyx system by way of their actions, in or out of uniform.

3. A Hussar may accept independent contracts and pursue their own interests as long as they abide by the above bylaws.

4. A Hussar must remain ready to defend the Nyx system, and all of her inhabitants, from dangers both domestic and foreign.
