Behold the glory of HUX!
The infamous Huxberry Brothers traverse the ‘Verse in search of adventure, excitement and riches. They are captains of many ships, but most importantly they are captains of industry. Hux Bros. don’t shy away from any job worth doing.
History
The story of the Huxberry Brothers is told differently depending on who’s doing the telling. There are stories of salvage missions gone horribly awry; tales of the underdog winning the day; whispers of bodies left stranded in strings across the abyss; lessons learned by ending up on the wrong side of the fight and legends told of the Cutlass Supreme that started it all.
Each member of the Huxberry Brothers is driven by different forces. As one may walk the road of vengeance, the other may be off in search of treasure. A Hux Bros. will often operate as a lone wolf, but when a big job is on the line, Hux come together.
The Huxberry Brothers were formed to take on what the ‘Verse has to offer. Whether alone or together in force, the Hux Bros. stand prepared to capitalize on any opportunity. They are well suited for dangerous challenges and always ready to make use of their signature tactic when a hasty exit is needed, known as the Quantum Donkey Punch.
The Huxberry Brothers continue to make history.
Manifesto
The Huxberry Brothers are by most definitions outlaws. The majority of the time, any Hux Bros. whether operating independently or as part of a Hux-crew or other crew will obey the law as it suits them. Huxberry Brothers are enterprising and often engage in long stints of steady cargo hauling, salvage operations, mining and sometimes bounty hunting contracts. They are not pirates of the innocent, but will take compensatory payment in all forms from any who fire in their direction. Huxberry Brothers don’t seek to start fights, but they do often finish them.
The term “outlaw” wasn’t chosen by any Huxberry Brother. It was branded upon them by those in the ‘Verse who would see the Hux Bros. as easy targets. The law must and will be pushed aside to protect the lives and assets of the Huxberry Brothers. Many have learned this. Since the very beginning, the Huxberry Brothers have been a magnet for trouble. It finds them in every dark corner of the star-map. And so outlaws they became by the blood on their hands, and outlaws each Huxberry Brother will remain.
Charter
The rules of the Huxberry Brothers are simple. They have two codes of conduct:
- Seek no unlawful conflict and let no conflict find you. If it does, call in your fellow Hux bros. to defend, defeat and pillage the aggressors.
- Submit to no authority, lawful or otherwise if it proves an obstacle to Huxberry Brothers Interests.
