History

Fired in a Mutual Desire and Tempered in Trust

ICARE was initially founded by three non-medics, they learnt to trust each other, and by trial and error progressively gained experience needed to be operational in the Stanton sytem. Those particular roots can be felt in the knowledge-sharing and training operations, as well as a comradeship that is core to ICARE.

As ICARE grew the founders met new members, key-persons from other organizations, such as the Red and Black Coalition, who perfectly fit their mutual values, together they forged alliances to create a network of mutually supporting organizations. ICARE provides the dedicated Medical and Rescue support in this network but always keeps in mind the importance of the cooperation in the struggle for political autonomy and against oppression forces, in this we are united with the rest of the network.

Mission

- Provide the Emergency Vital Assistance to All Sentient Beings of the Verse
- Support those who Struggle Against Tyranny, Domination & Repression
- Oppose All Who Cause Unnecessary Suffering

Operations

- On Site Healing First Aid – Ambulatory Services
- Transport of Injured to Medical Establishments
- Delivery of Vital Needs Food and Water – Life Sustaining Equipment (helmets, undersuits etc)
- Extraction to Safe Place Post Conflict – Upon Vehicle Destruction – Lost in Space Rescue – EVA Pickup
- Medical Supplies Transport
- ICARE Academy & Mentorship Basic Medical – Piloting & Self Defense – Skill Sharing
- Undermine Huston Dynamics Operations

- Do Not Hunt Animals or Any Sentient Beings
- Do Not Trade in Osoian Hides or Any Sentient Beings’ Body Part

Charter

Values & Duties

Liberty
- The struggle is for autonomy of all people in the verse, and also the fight against any who oppose this autonomy of person
- Patient empowerment and emancipation, following the “patient partnership” model in healthcare (the patient being part of all decision, full partcipation vs. object of care)
- We are Nonmisogynistic, feminist, antiracist, pro-LGBTQIA2S+: We Punch Up Not Down
- Each ICARE member has a duty to oppose the ideolgies and actions of intolerance, oppression, exploitation, dominance, authority, tyranny and fascism

Fraternity
- Every member has a duty to foster a spirit of comradeship in solidarity, and provide mutual respect

Triage
- Prioritize resources to aid efforts that are likely to have healthy outcomes
- Deny resources to those who appose the struggle

Assistance
- Help fellow travellers, we are all travellers

Practice Mutual Aid
- Mutual Aid is a voluntary reciprocal exchange of resources and services for mutual benefit. Mutual aid projects can be a form of political participation in which people take responsibility for caring for one another and changing political condition

Collaboration
- Listen and trust each other
- Share knowledge where necessary
- Provide support to allied groups (Network of Resistance Organizations) and unaffiliated indivduals
