The Independent Citizens Union is an in formal union of free and independent pilots and crew members. We welcome any solo-citizens who want the freedom of independent life, but with the security of an organisation behind you.

Manifesto
It’s a dangerous universe out there and doubly so for solo crews. Without the power of an organisation behind you, you can be easy pray for pirates and bandits. The purpose of the Independent Citizens Union is that when a solo ship is out in the wilds, they will know who to trust. The only rule in the I.C.U. Is that you may never fire upon another member. This means if you are caught short in open space, you will know anyone displaying the I.C.U. Flag won’t be taking advantage of you.
Of course it would be lovely to encourage members to look out for each other, but the major draw comes from the fact that there is no responsibilities towards the organisation. Do what you want, make your fortune how you want, but know that there is always a safe place with the I.C.U. If you don’t interfere with other members operations, they won’t interfere with yours.
