History

Founded on November 20th 2015, the Intergalactic Bounty Board is an organization that allows bounty hunters and clients to connect with one another. The game is in an early stage and once everyone will be released into the PU there will be large waves of crime. The IGBB allows citizens that have been wronged by others to bring justice to these people.

Manifesto

Who are you?

The IGBB is a group of bounty hunters and staff, working together to bring power to the people who seek it. All bounty hunters can decide to stay anonymous, and IGBB membership is only visible to other members of the organization.

How?

By placing a bounty on the IGBB website, bounty hunters can find a job that suits their skill, equipment and location. Clients can set a price on the head of somebody, for whatever reason they deem necessary. Bigger prices mean more competition and more security for the job to succeed. Clients can decide whether they want to pay a bounty hunter in UEC, or go completely off the charts and transfer money through PayPal.

Why?

Not everyone in the universe wants to invest in military tools or offensive capabilities. For the people who still need military enforcement or protection the IGBB can provide both. Starting miners in an isolated asteroid field make easy pray for pirates. For the players that don’t want to invest in a permanent protection crew or a more expensive ship capable of holding it’s own, the IGBB can be used to gain justic and protection.

What are views on politics in the universe?

The IGBB stands united for freedom among the citizens, and wants to prevent any organization from getting too big and oppressing others. Criminals in space are free to make their own choices, but can expect consequences if they provoked the wrong people. The IGBB stands open for partnership and cooperation with other organizations if they share our opinions and can work towards mutual growth.

Charter

What are the rules within the IGBB?

Every bounty hunter can work for himself, or in a squadron, but members must always obey the X basic rules:

  1. A bounty shall never be placed on a registered member.

Bounty hunters within the organization are protected against the potential threat of other bounty hunters, in or outside of the IGBB.

  1. No target is allowed to be punished more than necessary.

Players cannot be targeted more than once for an action, unless the IGBB considers multiple punishments appropriate.

  1. Identities are to remain unknown.

Revealing the identity of a member other than yourself will result in a bounty on your head, and a permanent ban from the organization.

  1. Bounty hunters are required to pay a predetermined amount of tax over the bounties they recieve.

Ignoring this rule once will result in a fine, and a second offense will permanently remove a member from the organization. The IGBB is free to, at all times, change the tax rate. The IGBB cannot claim extra taxes over bounties already claimed.

  1. Once a job is accepted, no other bounty hunters can fulfill the job without consulting the client and the IGBB staff.

A job can be claimed however, if another bounty hunter is willing to fulfill the job for a lower price. Before any job if transferred to another member, the client and the IGBB must approve of the transfer.

  1. The IGBB is free to refuse any claims for collateral damages, if the IGBB considers the claims unrealistic.

If the IGBB considers any extra damages to be the fault of bad decisions by the bounty hunter, the member will have to cover the costs.

  1. The IGBB is free to refuse, cancel or transfer a job at any time.

If the IGBB considers a job to be disadvantageous for the organization (be it for political, financial or personal reasons) it is able to refuse, cancel or transfer a job at any stage in the process.

  1. All money transfers are handles by the IGBB staff, and the IGBB is not responsible for any transfer delays.

If a payment is overdue because of bank or service issues, the bounty hunter will be referred to the client. The IGBB can cover any attempts at scamming or blackmail by clients, and is free to punish a client for similar actions.

  1. All jobs must be claimed before being fulfilled.

A member must first receive confirmation that the job is theirs to fulfill before taking action.

  1. A bigger bounty always has a bigger priority.

When given the choice, a bounty hunter must always fulfill the biggest bounty if not all jobs can be fulfilled.

When applying to join as a member of the IGBB, there are a few requirements.
