Intergalactic Horizons Consolidation “Pioneering the Future of Space, Together”

“Connecting the Stars, Securing the Future.” – Alfared Zip
“Secure. Explore. Expand.” – Tyr Voss

History

The Founding
Intergalactic Horizons Consolidation (IHC) made by Alfared Zip, Tyr Voss, and Hadrian Voss—three individuals whose combined expertise in logistics, mining, and engineering would set the stage for a company that would come to shape humanity’s interstellar future.

Alfared Zip: He served as a UEE Navy officer for over two decades, rising through the ranks to the prestigious position of Commodore. However, when he was unexpectedly promoted from Captain, Alfared grew disillusioned with the rigid hierarchy and political nature of the Navy. Desiring more autonomy and a new challenge, he left the UEE Navy, seeking to build something that would shape the future of humanity’s expansion in space.
In his early navy years, Alfared crossed paths with Tyr Voss, a renowned mercenary and the leader of Voss Security Solutions. Tyr’s expertise in military strategy and security operations caught Alfared’s attention, and the two formed an unlikely partnership. Alfared founded Intergalactic Horizons Consolidation (IHC), with Tyr joining the venture and merging his security services with IHC’s logistics and infrastructure solutions.
As CEO of IHC, Alfared Zip used his Navy experience to build the company into a powerhouse in deep-space transport, resource extraction, and security, becoming a key player in humanity’s frontier expansion.

Tyr Voss: He was a legendary mercenary commander known for his unparalleled tactical skills and leadership in some of the most volatile regions of space. He founded Voss Security Solutions, a private military company that provided elite protection, convoy escorts, and military operations for high-risk clients across the Pyro and Stanton systems.
Recognizing the growing need for comprehensive security and logistics solutions in the expanding frontier, Tyr merged his company with Intergalactic Horizons Consolidation (IHC)—a rising logistics and infrastructure titan led by CEO Alfared Zip. The merger allowed Tyr to expand beyond military services, integrating his expertise into IHC’s vast network of transport, resource extraction, and colony development.
Now heading IHC’s Security & Logistics Division, Tyr Voss became a key player in the company’s growth, overseeing the safety of critical supply chains and strategic operations across the galaxy, further cementing his legacy as a master of both combat and business.

Hadrian : A brilliant engineer and inventor, Hadrian was responsible for the technological innovations that would define IHC’s success. After working on ship designs for major corporations like Aegis Dynamics, Hadrian joined the company with a clear goal: to create vessels that could withstand the harshest conditions of deep space while offering maximum efficiency for long-range transport. He led the development of IHC’s first proprietary ships, including the Horizon-class cargo hauler and Vanguard-class military transports, both of which became central to IHC’s expansion into high-demand markets.

With their complementary skill sets, the trio of Zip, Tyr, and Hadrian formed a cohesive leadership team that set out to revolutionize interstellar logistics. They founded Intergalactic Horizons Consolidation (IHC) with a simple but ambitious mission: to become the galaxy’s leading provider of deep-space transport, resource extraction, and infrastructure solutions for humanity’s rapidly growing colonies.

Early Years of Growth and Innovation
In the first decade of operation, IHC quickly became known for its pioneering approach to deep-space transport. The company’s flagship fleet of Horizon-class freighters, designed by Hadrian Voss, quickly became the go-to vessels for corporations, militaries, and independent operators looking to move goods across vast distances. These ships were built to be versatile, able to transport large quantities of goods, including fragile high-tech components, as well as heavy mining equipment and fuel for remote outposts.

The company’s early success was further bolstered by Tyr Voss’s expertise in mining. By the mid-2840s, IHC had established a foothold in some of the most lucrative resource-rich regions of space, including Daymar and Yela, within the Stanton System. These planets’ abundance of minerals and natural resources made them perfect for mining operations, and IHC began to facilitate trade routes for transporting raw materials to the ever-growing industrial hubs on ArcCorp and Hurston.

IHC secured its first major contract with Hurston Dynamics, marking the company’s entry into large-scale infrastructure development. IHC took on the responsibility of transporting resources for the construction of orbital space stations and planetary facilities, including the massive Hurston Jump Point Station, which would later serve as a critical node for inter-system travel.

Expansion into Colonial Logistics
As humanity continued to expand its reach into uncharted space, IHC began to pivot from being a logistics provider to a full-service infrastructure and colonization partner. The company’s expansion into new star systems, including the Pyro and Omae systems, led to the formation of IHC’s Colonial Logistics Division, which focused on developing new planets and providing the resources needed for successful colonization.

IHC launched its Planetary Development Initiative, a bold program that combined its expertise in resource transportation with the construction of full-fledged human settlements on newly discovered planets. The program’s first major success was the establishment of a permanent research and mining colony on Omae IV, a barren planet rich in rare metals. IHC helped create the first self-sustaining infrastructure on the planet, including a mining outpost and a modular habitat for researchers and miners. This project would go on to serve as a model for future colonization efforts across the Pyro and Tevarin sectors.

Simultaneously, Hadrian Voss was pushing the boundaries of shipbuilding with the development of the Vanguard-class military transport ships, which quickly gained popularity with both corporate security firms and the UEE Navy. These highly durable, heavily armored ships were perfect for long-range military expeditions, convoys, and piracy prevention, further cementing IHC’s role as a key player in both civilian and military logistics.

The company had successfully expanded into the Pyro system, which, despite its hostile reputation, had become a hotbed of commercial interest due to its resource-rich moons and proximity to critical trade routes. Tyr’s knowledge of the system’s hazardous conditions allowed IHC to set up thriving outposts and resource processing centers that were capable of withstanding the harsh environments.

The Horizon Initiative and New Frontiers
As the 30th century began, Alfared Zip recognized the need for a new frontier—both for IHC and for humanity as a whole. With the UEE’s continued expansion into unexplored regions of space, IHC set its sights on becoming the leader in both interstellar exploration and deep-space infrastructure development. This vision culminated in the launch of the Horizon Initiative.

The Horizon Initiative was a multi-year program designed to explore and settle uncharted systems, with a focus on building sustainable colonies and new trade routes in the farthest reaches of known space. The project would involve the construction of massive space stations capable of supporting entire colonies, as well as establishing resource extraction operations on new planets and asteroids.

IHC successfully established its first deep-space research outpost in the uncharted Chorus system, a region located on the edge of known space. This station served as a critical hub for scientific research, mining operations, and shipbuilding, as well as a launching point for future exploration missions.

Meanwhile, Tyr Voss continued to drive the company’s resource extraction capabilities. IHC was instrumental in the creation of a vast mining network in the Pyro system, setting up state-of-the-art mining rigs on hazardous moons such as Walla and Cedar. The raw materials extracted from these locations were key to powering IHC’s deep-space operations and supply chains.

Hadrian Voss continued to innovate in the field of ship design, overseeing the development of the Endeavor-class long-range exploration vessel, which would become the backbone of IHC’s deep-space fleet. The Endeavor-class was capable of carrying large crews, scientific equipment, and mining rigs, allowing for sustained exploration and colonization missions across the galaxy’s uncharted regions.

The Legacy of IHC
Today, IHC stands as one of the most influential corporations in the UEE, a testament to the vision and ambition of its founders, Alfared Zip, Tyr Voss, and Hadrian Voss. The company is recognized not only for its pioneering role in space transport and resource extraction but also for its leadership in the development of self-sustaining colonies and deep-space exploration.

Under Alfared Zip’s leadership, IHC continues to push the boundaries of human expansion. The Horizon Initiative has opened up new frontiers, with IHC playing a central role in building humanity’s future among the stars. The company’s vast fleet of vessels, including the Horizon-class freighters, Vanguard-class military transports, and Endeavor-class exploration ships, remain symbols of IHC’s unrelenting pursuit of excellence.

As IHC continues its journey into the stars, the legacy of its founders—Alfared, Tyr, and Hadrian—lives on in every colony built, every mining outpost established, and every ship that sails into the great unknown.
