Welcome to the Temple of Speed, for we are the patron-saints of peddle-to-the-metal and the instigators of the greatest races this universe has ever seen.

Join us in a journey of self-revelation and discover if you have the skill, endurance and most importantly… the balls…

History

Motion isn’t just a word – it’s a state of existence. To be alive is to move, and to live is to move fast. These are the words put forward by the founding Master of Races, Johnathan “Jet-stream” James in 2567, in a long forgotten land where an oppressive regime decided they had the right to dictate what mankind can and cannot do. As prohibition and puritanical pressures became omnipresent across the galactic empires, the common man cried out for his vices to bring a much needed escape from tyranny – they wanted smugglers, runners, outlaws – and Jet-stream James was one of the very first to cram a much-too-big-engine into a featherweight ship and leave the authorities in the dust. As he reached higher and higher speeds, it became an obsession; faster and faster and faster he went, until one day his very perception of space and time warped around him in terrifying and beautiful ways, and he saw beyond. He saw beyond reality and mortality, and peered into the unknown with a single bloodshot eye, and saw our King in Motion, roaring along upon heavenly wings flitting and spinning and rolling and tumbling in a cacophony of pace and agility and majesty, an intricate and seamless dance, and he peered back into our founders bloodshot eye and whispered; “Faster.”
Jet-stream James returned to the other outlaws and spread his words of faith across the world. Pretty soon, others felt his obsession with motion, and together they created the Temple of Speed, a chrome covered testament to the King in Motion and all those who feel the call of the beyond and long to outrun the confinements of an imperfect world, and help others that cannot. Together the followers of the Temple of Speed hosted races all over the galaxy in all different capacities, both legal and illegal, hoping one day to dance again with the King in Motion.”

Manifesto

The gears of life forever turn as the engines roar carries upon the solar wind.

It is the duty of the Temple of Speed to forever and engage in the most spectacular of races.

What is our intention? To fill others with glorious intent and purpose in high octane and adrenaline fueled competition. The mind is dizzied by the taste for victory upon crossing the sacred finishing line.

As such we create tests with which to enlighten the uneducated, this small and casual commune instigates racing of every variety. From organised participation in the Murray Cup to impromptu chaos in the Yela belt.

Once the universe is opened unto us, it is our intent to streak across it with blinding speed, filling the black with merriment and fervor.

A race can take place anywhere, all one needs is a start and a finish. Should you fancy to take part in illegal drag across a shipping hub? So be it. Should you itch to hold the Murray Cup, so be it…. Remember to savor the taste, victory is only sweet whilst it lingers upon the tongue.
