CHARTER
Charter of The Illuminatum Infinite: Forged in Unity, Guided by Purpose
Article I: Name and Purpose
Section 1: Name
The name of this organization shall be The Illuminatum Infinite, hereafter referred to as “the Organization.”

Section 2: Purpose
The purpose of the Organization is to unite individuals who are driven by a common quest for knowledge, exploration, and the advancement of humanity in the vast expanse of the Star Citizen universe. We aim to foster a sense of unity, strength, and eternal brotherhood among our members, while diligently pursuing enlightenment, unraveling cosmic mysteries, and shaping a better future.

Article II: Membership
Section 1: Eligibility
Membership in the Organization is open to all individuals who align with our purpose, embrace our core values, and are willing to contribute positively to the community. There shall be no discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, or any other irrelevant factors.

Section 2: Rights and Responsibilities
a) Members have the right to participate in Organization activities, access shared resources, and contribute to the collective goals of the Organization.
b) Members are responsible for upholding the values and principles of the Organization, maintaining respectful and cooperative behavior towards fellow members, and actively supporting the Organization’s pursuits.
c) Respect the Void: Treat all members with courtesy and respect. Discrimination, harassment, or offensive language will not be tolerated.
d) Galactic Unity: Foster a positive and inclusive environment. Embrace diversity, avoid toxic behavior, and encourage constructive discussions.
e) Chart Your Course: Keep discussions relevant to Star Citizen and space-related topics. Off-topic conversations should be taken to designated channels.
f) Astral Etiquette: Use appropriate language and maintain a friendly atmosphere. No excessive swearing or disruptive behavior that hinders others’ enjoyment.
g) No BS: Do not engage in game piracy, hacking, or any form of cheating. Uphold fair play and adhere to the game’s terms of service.
h) Stellar Spoiler Alert: Respect fellow players’ experiences. Avoid sharing major plot twists, spoilers, or leaks without proper warnings and spoiler tags.
i) Shipshape Communication: Use each channel for its intended purpose. Voice chat disruptions, spam, excessive caps, or unnecessary pinging are discouraged.
j) Voyage Collaboration: Coordinate gameplay and group activities responsibly. Seek consent before joining others’ crews and communicate clearly during missions.
k) Orbit of Moderation: Follow the instructions of server moderators. Disobeying rules or refusing to comply may result in warnings, temporary mute, or removal.
l) Stellar Data Privacy: Protect personal information. Do not share others’ private details without their consent. Respect individual privacy and boundaries.

Section 3: Membership Termination
Membership may be terminated in cases of violation of the Organization’s principles, failure to fulfill responsibilities, or other serious breaches of conduct. Termination shall be conducted in accordance with fair procedures, allowing the member in question an opportunity to be heard.

Article III: Governance
Section 1: Leadership
a) The Organization shall be led by a Council of Celestials, comprised of experienced and trusted members who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and contributions.
b) The Council of Celestials shall be responsible for guiding the Organization’s strategic direction, making key decisions, and ensuring the organization operates in accordance with its principles.

Section 2: Decision-Making
a) Major decisions, such as changes to the Organization’s policies or objectives, shall be made through collective deliberation and voting among the Council of Celestials.
b) Smaller day-to-day decisions may be delegated to designated officers or committees, as determined by the Council of Celestials.

Section 3: Trials and Advancement

In order to make progress through the organization fair for everyone a path has been created to make rank attainable and fair for everyone. Promotion boards will be ran regularly at a point to be determined.

a) Path of Ascendance: Novices to Adepts – Ran 3 monthly to allow Novices chances to learn the game and up-skill

1. Exploration Challenge: Navigate to a designated location in a given star system and gather specific data or locate a hidden point of interest.
2. Combat Assessment: Engage in a simulated combat scenario against AI-controlled opponents.
3. Trade and Commerce Trial: Successfully complete an Illegal Smuggling run or participate in a trade-focused mission involving cargo transportation.
4. Communication and Collaboration Assessment: Participate in a coordinated operation or mission with other Novices, demonstrating effective communication and teamwork.

b) Leadership Trials: Adepts to Sergeants

1. Tactical Command Challenge: Lead a group of Novices and Adepts in a PvPvE combat scenario, demonstrating effective leadership, tactical decision-making, and coordination.
2. Recruitment and Mentorship: Successfully recruit a new member, guide and mentor them through the path of ascendance, providing support and guidance in their development within the organization.

c) Trials of Knighthood: Sergeants to Knights

1. Combat Leadership Assessment: Lead a squad in a challenging combat scenario against AI-controlled opponents and highly skilled players, showcasing leadership skills, tactical decision-making, and effective communication in combat situations.
2. Squad Recruitment and Training: Recruit and train a new member for the Sergeants, providing them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and guidance to become a successful Sergeant within the organization.

d) Trials of Devotion: Sergeants to Priests

1. Provide effective logistical support to a large-scale PvP or PvE operation, coordinating resources, asset management, and ensuring seamless supply chains to support the success of the mission. (Provide the armament, vehicles and logistical transport for a GH troop movement (platoon level)
2. Recruitment and Mentorship: Recruit and train a new member for the *Sergeants, providing them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and guidance to become a successful Sergeant within the organization.*

These trials will help evaluate and determine the skills, capabilities, and suitability of individuals as they progress through the ranks within the organization. Additionally, they emphasize the importance of leadership, recruitment, and mentorship within the Knights and Priests. Good luck to all members on their path of ascendance and their pursuit of Knighthood or Devotion!

Section 4: Complaints and Investigations
a) Informal Resolution: The parties involved should attempt to resolve the issue themselves in a civil and polite manner, demonstrating the ability to reflect and humility. Evidence that this step has been taken should be provided along with the outcome of the discussion in writing. Unless evidence of extenuating circumstances, no escalation can occur without this step being attempted.
b) Formal Investigation: If informal resolution fails or is not possible, allegations should be submitted privately through a ticket system. An investigator of equal or higher rank shall be allocated to collect and investigate the allegations. The investigator shall make recommendations to the Council of Celestials, who will then act upon those recommendations or provide a written statement explaining their decision. The complainant and accused shall be informed of the outcome, and both parties shall have the right to appeal or accept the decision within 14 days.
c) Publication of Outcomes: The investigating officer may recommend sealing or publishing the outcome after hearing the requests of all parties involved. It is possible to request the publication of the outcome with all details, other than the outcome, redacted. Un-redacted versions shall be sent to the involved parties prior to publication.

Article IV: Activities and Initiatives
Section 1: Objectives
The Organization shall engage in a wide range of activities, initiatives, and endeavors, including but not limited to:
a) Exploration and discovery of new star systems, planets, and alien artifacts.
b) Scientific research and technological advancements that benefit the Organization and humanity as a whole.
c) Trade, commerce, and economic ventures to foster prosperity and growth.
d) Combat operations and defense initiatives to safeguard our interests and protect our brethren.
e) Community engagement, cooperation, and collaboration with other organizations and individuals in the Star Citizen universe.

Section 2: Initiatives and Projects
Members are encouraged to propose and undertake initiatives, projects, and endeavors that align with the Organization’s purpose and contribute to the overall mission. The Council of Celestials shall provide guidance, support, and resources to facilitate the successful execution of such endeavors.

Article V: Amendments
Section 1: Amendment Process
This Charter may be amended or revised as deemed necessary by the Council of Celestials. Proposed amendments shall be presented to the membership for review and discussion before a final decision is made. A majority vote by the Council of Celestials shall be required to enact any amendments.

Section 2: Communication
Any amendments or revisions to the Charter shall be communicated promptly to the membership, ensuring transparency and understanding of the Organization’s evolving principles and guidelines.

This Charter is hereby adopted on Thursday, June 27th, 2023, by the Council of Celestials of The Illuminatum Infinite and shall serve as the guiding document for the Organization’s operations, governance, and pursuits.
