Intergalactic trading corporation / INTRCORP

Founded in 2381, INTRCORP (Intergalactic Trading Company) was started by the remnants of 2 companies from humanities past, the VOC and the EIC who decided to join forces in the face of the unification wars to protect trade routes from the conflict.

When the wars ended in 2384 business quickly dried up as the amount of trade routes that required protection quickly declined or were now covered by the then named UNE so the company pivoted to doing trade themselves to keep relevancy in the new market.

Sadly INTRCORP could not keep up with it’s competition and had started to fall behind when they decided to break into a new direction, piracy and extortion, which turned out to be quite lucrative, keeping the company alive till 2436 when it was finally dissolved after 2 years of legal battles and diving profits.

Now in 2955 a group of people have found some of the remaining assets of the company in their posession, inhereted from generations long gone they decided to revive the company and reclaim it’s former glory, doing so through whatever means they saw fit.

This meant piracy, trading, bounty hunting, convoy protection, mining, salvaging, really anything that could turn a profit and so INTRCORP has slowly been building itself back up again, completing recent purchases in 2956 that includes the Polaris and Perseus.
