J&B Freelance INT is a licensed interstellar contract collective specializing in secure transport, asset recovery, and tactical support. Professional, disciplined, and bound by duty. “Across dying suns and silent systems—we deliver.”
On February 13th, 2956, the foundations of J&B Freelance IN’T were laid not in a boardroom, but in the wreckage of a failed contract.
While transiting the moons of Hurston, founders J and B were interdicted by an overwhelming outlaw element. Outgunned and stripped of their fleet, they were forced into an emergency atmospheric entry, crash-landing on the desolate, wind-swept surface of Ita.
As they looked up from the dunes at the silent systems above, they didn’t just see a loss of credits—they saw a systemic failure of security. They realized that in the dark between the stars, the line between a successful delivery and a total loss is drawn by those with the discipline to hold it.
They swore that no client under their watch would ever be left stranded, and no pirate would go unchallenged. J&B was forged in the heat of that crash: a collective built on the belief that professionalism is the ultimate defense.
THE J&B MANIFESTO: THE ITA DECLARATION
I. THE FOUNDATION
On February 13, 2956, the Verse taught us its harshest lesson. Amidst the shifting sands of Ita and the wreckage of our past, J&B Freelance IN’T was not merely born—it was forged. We realized that the difference between survival and catastrophe is not luck; it is discipline. We do not just fly; we operate. We do not just haul; we secure.
II. THE CODE OF THE COLLECTIVE
We are a Licensed Interstellar Contract Collective. We stand as a beacon of order in an increasingly chaotic Stanton. To wear the J&B patch is to commit to three unshakeable truths:
1. Integrity Above All: Our word is our bond. When a contract is signed, the outcome is certain. We deliver where others falter.
2. The Shield, Not the Sword: We mean no harm to the law-abiding Citizens of the UEE. We are the professionals who ensure that commerce continues and assets are recovered, using force only to dismantle those who threaten the peace.
3. No Citizen Left Behind: Born from the silence of being stranded, we ensure no member of this collective—and no client under our wing—is ever abandoned to the black.
III. OUR OPERATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
We do not seek the easy paths; we seek the professional ones. From the neon-choked skylines of ArcCorp to the frozen wastes of microTech, we operate within the boundaries of the law. We prove every day that you do not need to be an outlaw to be a force to be reckoned with.
IV. THE PROMISE
To the pirates who think us easy prey: We are the wall.
To the clients who need results: We are the solution.
To the recruits who seek a purpose: We are the collective.
Across dying suns and silent systems—WE DELIVER.
THE J&B CORPORATE CHARTER
Operational Protocol & Member Conduct
Article I: Legal Compliance
1.01 UEE Adherence: All members must operate within the legal frameworks of the United Empire of Earth. Criminal ratings (CrimeStats) must be cleared immediately at the member’s expense unless earned during a sanctioned Org operation.
1.02 Prohibited Goods: The transport of “Red-Listed” illicit substances (Slam, WiDoW, Maze, etc.) is strictly forbidden. We are a licensed collective; we do not smuggle.
1.03 Piracy: J&B Freelance IN’T maintains a zero-tolerance policy for piracy. Engaging in unprovoked attacks or cargo theft is grounds for immediate termination.
Article II: Rules of Engagement (ROE)
2.01 Non-Aggression: We mean no harm to law-abiding Citizens. Members shall not fire unless fired upon or unless a “Red” (Hostile) target poses an immediate threat to a client, an asset, or a fellow member.
2.02 Proactive Defense: While we are peaceful, we are not passive. Escort pilots are authorized to use any force necessary to neutralize threats to the fleet during a contract.
2.03 Collateral Damage: Members must take every precaution to minimize damage to civilian property and non-combatant life during asset recovery missions.
Article III: Fleet Discipline
3.01 Chain of Command: During active operations, the ranking officer (Ops Chief or Overseer) has tactical authority. Clear communication is expected on all comms channels.
3.02 Asset Readiness: Members are responsible for the maintenance of their personal vessels. A ship with red-lined components is a liability to the Collective.
3.03 No Citizen Left Behind: In the spirit of our founders on Ita, no member shall leave a stranded teammate behind. All distress calls from J&B members take priority over non-essential activities.
Article IV: Professionalism
4.01 Public Relations: Every member is a representative of the J&B brand. Harassment, “griefing,” or toxic behavior in Global Chat is strictly prohibited.
4.02 Contractual Bond: Once a member commits to a mission, they stay until completion or until dismissed by the mission lead. We deliver—no matter how silent the system.
