History

The Jeremy Circle is a group of horror video game loving dads who have spent far too many hours lighting summoning circles and running for their lives trying to get that 5-star ghost photo. In the chaotic panic to escape, sage sticks are thrown at whatever demonic entity is haunting the property. Maybe the group found a secret door at the back of the closet they were hiding in, or maybe the summoning circle teleported them here. Either way, the dads of the Jeremy Circle have landed in this new universe. Their mission is still the same, protect each other, earn cash and throw unlit sage sticks at the enemy.

Manifesto

Explore

We were supernatural detectives by trade. It was our job to investigate the bizarre, explore haunted places and do the things needed to protect the living. Our number one objective is to discover, investigate and experience everything the Verse has to offer. Whether that be discovering a mineral deposit to mine, investigating derelict ghost ships for treasure or finding that unique experience (or repeating old experiences we enjoy), the main objective of the dad’s of the Jeremy Circle is to be out in the Verse.

Protect

For decades we kept humanity safe from evil supernatural forces. You never even knew we were here, living in the darkest, most evil of places, keeping you safe. Our second most important virtue is to protect the living from the ghosts, demons, and whatever evil that hungers for your life force. We aim to protect the innocent citizens of the Verse from whatever evil that hunts them, and do whatever it takes to keep you safe from harm, even if that means earning a crime stat.

Rescue

Being supernatural detectives, we understand the importance of what the person standing next to you brings to the party. Rescuing and healing your teammates is vital to everyone’s survival. This is the same in any thriving community, and we extend this virtue to all citizens of the Verse. If your body springs a leak and begins to water the ground with your blood and need medical attention, or a ghost exorcism, we will come to the rescue with band aids, sage sticks, and drinks.

Charter

We are just a group of dad’s trying to make our way through the Verse. We focus on the role-playing aspect of the game, though we are not necessarily limited to just that.

Guidelines

Explore the unknown: To go boldly where no one has gone before! Explore the unknown, find those gold deposits and exorcise those haunted derelict ships. And of course, to throw unlit sage sticks at evil beings.

Protect the innocent and each other: Defend those who cannot defend themselves. Look out for brothers and sisters of the circle. Aid and equip those in need where possible.

Do not withhold medical attention: Even if we don’t agree with someone, they should still have access to medical aid – they could be turned into a ghost, zombie, or vampire that we’ll just have to kill later.

Fight with purpose: Fight with a goal in mind and call off the attack when necessary.

Always pack sage sticks: You never know when you’ll need to make a strategic escape. Always bring something along that will help your mission. Do not fear the loss of gear, there is always more out there to discover.
