Like in movies, all good cults religions need a Villain. Christianity has the Devil, reasoned thinking and rational thought are the foes of Scientology. The Crab’s Villain? The Selfish Shellfish.
Welcome to JDGE.
History
We’ve been around for quite some time, almost 10 years. We started in WoW, migrated to Tera, SWTOR, GW2, a little fondle with FFXIV:ARR, a little presence in Wildstar.
Most of us remember Wing Commander, Privateer, Privateer 2… even space games not produced by a member of the Roberts clan; Conflict Freespace 1 and 2. The core of our Organisation is a tight-knit group. As we try out new games and become part of new communities, we grow a little more.
Ultimately space offers a draw no conventional MMO can satisfy. We care about the people in our guild. We don’t zerg. We don’t aim to grow big to simply be big. We do a lot with a little, and in Star Citizen we intend to carve out a slice of the universe and plant the Crab Banner.
Manifesto
Our Manifesto is really rather simple; The members of our cult faith are family, and you should always support your family.
We will live out the Virtues of The Crab. We will rally against the ways of our enemy; The Selfish Shellfish.
The Selfish Shellfish is a divergent sect of The Order of The Crab. The Crab represents oneness (disclaimer: This is not a clone of Buddhism). The Selfish Shellfish represents stupidity. His real name is Osicat.
