Drenwald, disillusioned with the inefficiencies and bureaucracy of the UEE military, envisioned a company that could operate with precision and autonomy, delivering security and peace of mind to those overlooked by the Empire.

The name “KILO” is both a nod to Drenwald’s Navy callsign and a representation of the company’s operational ethos: measured, reliable, and decisive action.

In 2941, KDC was contracted to protect a string of mining operations in Nyx from pirate factions. By 2943, KDC had begun transitioning into a more formalized organization, adopting stricter recruitment standards and integrating advanced combat tactics learned from conflicts in Pyro.
