Hi everyone!

It’s my pleasure to announce that the Khazar Stellar organisation page is finally in working order, after several months of being slightly outdated and… well, neglected. Hopefully you found everything you needed to know this time around! Furthermore, we are now an affiliated organisation of Cognition Corp, a coalition of organisations that will allow us to arrange more in-house contracts!

Welcome to Khazar Stellar’s main page!

Founded as a niche private military company (PMC), Khazar Stellar specialises in utilising electronic warfare to conduct scouting, convoy defence, and other military-oriented contracts.This role is likely to be expanded as our organisation develops, but the core focus on utilising electronic warfare to gain the advantage in combat and espionage shall remain.

While expanding beyond private and military intelligence acquisition contracts, Khazar Stellar began taking public contracts in 2944. Using contacts and resources maintained from the days of our organisation’s near-collapse following the sudden climax of the Xi’an Cold War, along with capable ships and support vessels, we are now a close-knit PMC re-exploiting a niche in the vast field of private security. Our access to dedicated logistics vessels ensure we can sustain operations in various systems while maintaining a healthy profit margin, translating into competitive prices and superior contract fulfilment for our clients. Furthermore, we are committed to expanding our organisation and the capabilities thereof, allowing our scalable operational structure to ensure optimum effectiveness during the mission planning phase.

Pre-2944

Khazar Stellar was initially founded in 2747 to take advantage of a sudden escalation of the Xi’An Cold War. To begin with, Khazari operatives served as hired reconnaissance analysts and recon pilots, providing relatively urgent services across the Perry Line to compensate for the ebb and swell of UEE forces repositioning to mirror Xi’an exercises. In order to assist with reconnaissance sorties against Xi’an Oracle carrier groups, several shady requisitioning deals were struck to give Khazar Stellar access to advanced UEE sensor equipment, under the condition that they were returned at the fleet’s demand. This state of affairs continued well into the Cold War, until the sudden de-escalation dried up Khazar Stellar’s steady supply of military contract. Faced with bankruptcy coupled with the loss of their military equipment, the senior staff of Khazar Stellar transferred the organisation’s remaining assets into a long-term holding account, intending for them to be released during a future escalation of the UEE’s military contracting budget.

The increasingly ominous buildup of Vanduul forces across several key systems has rekindled the private security sector, releasing the former assets of Khazar Stellar to the descendants of the previous senior staff. Amounting to a healthy credit injection and long-term ship ownership certificates, Khazar Stellar now intends to exploit the Vanduul conflict to restore its former glory and power.

Fleet Structure

KHASTEL directs and maintains a variety of combat-ready spacecraft, with a well-structured command element to ensure rapid response and delivery of contracts. With dedicated specialist ships working alongside their line-ship counterparts, our forces are versatile yet tight-knit. KHASTEL operators are organised into task forces while active, with five-man tactical squadrons led by specialists, and five-squadron task forces led by section commanders. This allows KHASTEL to allocate forces suited to their task, while maintaining fast deployments in line with our ethos.

Manifesto

KHASTEL mission statement:

  • To deliver effective, decisive support to those who contract our services.
  • To increase the combat effectiveness of other convoy escort ships.
  • To disorient, disable and deter aggressors without a physical act of aggression.
  • To maintain a reputation of integrity, skill and combat effectiveness with our clients.
  • To provide secondary services to our clients, including remote surveillance, identification and data extraction.
  • To sustain an effective and scalable organization structure, ensuring optimum and seamless task force operation.

Charter

Khazar Stellar abides by standard UEE conventions for engagements with OPFOR. While we are predominantly a paramilitary force, non-combat solutions are encouraged, but we will use lethal force as necessary.

Our organization is an authority, and as such, Khazari operatives and affiliates are expected to abide by our charter when interacting with KHASTEL property or when on active duty. All staff are expected to:
  • Obey the orders of the ship’s captain, unless these actions would endanger the ship beyond a reasonable degree.
  • Behave with professionalism while dealing with clients. However, a more casual, relaxed atmosphere aboard a Khazari vessel is encouraged while on long escorts.
  • Preserve the reputation of Khazar Stellar while on active duty.
  • Safeguard Khazari operational details.
  • Prioritise non-lethal and democratic solutions to engagements.
  • Not engage fellow Khazari operatives or affiliates in endangering combat.
In return, Khazar Stellar will seek to:
  • Train crew members in various ship systems, such as Electronic Warfare (EW) or combat engineering.
  • Pay a predetermined wage per mission, with bonuses for effective performance.
  • Provide a network of KHASTEL assets and contacts for agents to utilise as authorized.
  • Actively and effectively manage our operational structure, allowing Khazari agents to always know their available duties.
  • Respect crew members and their desires, criticisms or suggestions.
  • Promote a friendly, relaxed atmosphere during convoy support roles.
