History

Started in the year 2930 this struggling, family owned and operated raw material Company was started with a MISC Prospect. Mr. Savarog put everything he had into the purchase of that vessel. Mrs. Savarog raised her only son (Iassac) while living on board the ship. Mr. Savarog in the year 2955 purchased a Drake Golem with the small profit he had left after purchasing a small home in the Stanton system. The ship was intended to be used by his son to grow the business. Iassac hated the ship, to the point he tried to forge his birthdate to enlist in the military. Mr. Savarog fell on hard times and began to drink his sorrows away. Nearly losing his home and both vessels, Iassac returned home to find his family in an impoverished state of living. Iassac unaware of how his decisions effected his family, finished a year of school and returned home to help his family get back on solid ground. In the year 2956 Iassac started by restructuring the debt that had accrued. Next, he began making side deals on raw ore to less than up standing organizations. Iassac was able to clear the family debt in a years’ time. Unfortunately, it was not before his mother and father passed. Iassac made a promise to his parents at their grave site to legitimize the business he saved and to grow is into a trusted Corporation. After some rebranding Knight Owls has expanded its once small operation into a multi-system Operation ranging from Mining where it got its start to contracted work for various entities, most notably CRUSADER INDUSTRIES and FOXWELL to name a few.

Manifesto

The Mega-Corporations look at the stars and see lines on a ledger. They sit in their plush high orbit boardrooms, typing up quarterly projections while we choke on stardust and burn our hands on raw hull plating.

They want you to believe that the frontier belongs to the highest bidder. They want you chained to their company stores, renting their overpriced lasers, and selling your hard-earned ore back to them for pennies.

We reject the corporate stronghold.

Our Pledge: We do not build for luxury; we build for labor. Every credit wasted on a leather pilot seat or an automated espresso machine is a credit stolen from the worker’s pocket. We demand raw utility. We fair stakes.

The riches of the belt belong to the souls brave enough to crack the rock. The sky is ours. Claim your share.
