History

////////////////////////////////////////////////\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

It’s said that long ago, the original Kyr’am clan members were exiled from a much larger clan and forced to find a new home in a galaxy far away. The newly formed Kyr’am clan found their home in the Sol system and sold their services as an army for hire. The clan earned a respectable reputation as ruthless but professional.

A few hundred years later, there wasn’t as much conflict to keep the clan supplied as there once was. Around this time, a young Kyr’am named Daveth murdererd the leader of the clan after challenging his position as Kyr’alor. From this, a coup erupted and half the clan was wiped out in a near instant. Daveth led the clan down a new path, one of conflict. The clan evolved from warmongers to terrorists and waged war against the UEE. This mistake cost the clan many lives causing them to retreat to an uncontrolled territory to lick their wounds.

The clan found allies among the Banu and work as privateers; launching raids on targeted villages and farms and ambushing trade caravans. But Daveth eventually betrayed his political allies. The Banu publicly burned the clan and made their horrendous deeds known. The people viewed them as savages and that’s what they became. No more prodigious than common pirates. Daveth grew lazy and the clan began hunting weaker prey, hunting purely for profit. As Daveth continued disrespecting the way of the Kyr’am, a new mutiny grew.

In 2948, a woman serving as a guardian for the clan named Esra issued a challenge to Daveth. Daveth shot her dead on the spot and chaos broke out. A mere 18 people survived the conflict, but they overthrew the false Kyr’am and imprisoned Daveth. An open challenge was held to defeat Daveth in bare-knuckle combat. The winner would determine the rightful leader of the clan. Many tried and failed until a young man named Bajin rose to the challenge and defeated him. Bajin was named Kyr’alor and handed Daveth over to the UEE explaining what had happened. The UEE reluctantly let Bajin go and, to this day, continue to keep a close eye on the Kyr’am as Bajin leads the clan on a path of restoration.

Charter

////////////////////////////////////////////////\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Org Rules:
  1. This is a role-playing guild. Being in character is a requirement. You can break character outside of the clan all you want but when you’re in-game(with other members), you aren’t you, you’re your character.
  2. Must have a proper character name. Ex: Daveth Kyr’am
  3. If you were born in the clan, your last name must be “Kyr’am”. If you were adopted and you don’t know who your parents were, your last name must be “Kyr’am”. Aliases are fine, taking the name of your former family is fine. But you are a Kyr’am and proud to be one.
  4. You can join as many orgs as you want, but you have to put the Kyr’am Clan above all the other orgs you’re in. We are your home, your family, your clan. Betrayal will not be tolerated.
Writers' Guide:

When writing your character for application please keep the following in mind:

  • Everyone in the Kyr’am clan was either born into the clan or adopted. Under Daveth’s lead, The Kyr’am Clan were often hired for various “bad guy” tasks like fighting in wars or destroying farms to keep a rival company without supply. On occasion someone would be orphaned in the confusion. If the orphan showed promise or was too young to fend for itself, the Kyr’am would take them in and raise them to be warriors. They don’t accept orphans over the age of five except in special cases where the orphan has proven to have potential as a warrior by demonstrating a willingness to overcome in the face of impossible odds. Adults are not accepted into the clan, period. This is a family. You were either raised here or you don’t belong.This practice has been around for as long as the clan has and continues this way.
  • After you are brought/born into the Clan you get put into a group of 3-4 other kids your age and are appointed a guardian who will train you and raise you until you reach the age of 14. Once you are 14 you are considered old enough to do low-risk missions to make money for the clan. Your squad would be assigned missions and you would see them out.
  • In 2948, the Kyr’am Clan went from being a pirate group to a PMC so if your character was adopted/born into the clan after that, you were raised by your birth parents and went through training with a guardian(who raises you if you were an orphan).
  • If your character was born/adopted before then, your character witnessed the Kyr’am civil war and probably played a part in it one way or the other.
