Welcome to the Last Gate Response Squadron. We are a tenacious group of freelancers whose reach extends throughout the Verse.
History
Our origins come from the stories of many navjumpers who discovered the Verse and continue to expand it. Their stories of new systems and worlds have inspired generations of explorers, miners, pilots, and scientists alike. Many of us grew up in the ever-expanding frontier of the traveled Verse. And as people of the frontier, we’ve seen how harsh and unforgiving everyday life can be for the average citizen and non-citizen who chooses the frontiers as their home. So, over the hundreds of years since the founding of LGRS, we have developed a culture that thoroughly trains and prepares members to handle a diverse range of operations. This is greatly thanks to the founding navjumpers and their courage that lives on in LGRS.
One of those navjumper, who in the 26th century discovered the system of Horus, Maria Sante. She is credited for the discovery of the Horus system and the jump point from Horus to the Rihlah system. After which, Horus was deemed a security risk for the UPE due to Rihlah being Xi’An territory, with whom we were at war at the time. The system was closed to non-military personnel. Maria Sante was the only one who was able to evade the military, as Horus was more hers than anyone else’s. Her last entry was in her journals, which were recovered from an info-beacon. In the entry, she speaks of her belief that Horus has more secrets to be unraveled. Historians and thrill chasers alike have never tried to crack the secrets Sante may have discovered, to no avail. And so, the secrets die with her… or did they?
Manifesto
We at Last Gate Response Squadron (LGRS) are a rapid response organization that can be deployed anywhere in the Verse. Our organization has the resources to accommodate all kinds of support roles, such as triage during a skirmish, escort for cargo or mining operations, and even logistic support for those who need assistance with their large-scale operations.
