Loose Org of Scandalous Scoundrels and Scalawags [LOSSS] - Organizations

History

Founded July 11th, 2944 by Capt_Morgan, along with Czar and Paulbearier, after a particularly interesting discussion was hammered down by Universe Authorities. We decided that Citizenship should come with freedom, so we endeavored to create a space where speech flowed freely amongst those who value it.

This organization is for those who wish to engage in lively discourse, a little debauchery, and enjoy a little adult beverage with their adult conversation. While we aim to fulfill social purposes, we aim to be no less feared and renowned when met in the ‘Verse. Members will be expected to spend at least some amount of time engaging in practice with other members to ensure the org is not only quick-witted, well-read, and three sheets to the wind… but deadly fearsome if crossed.

Manifesto

This page is under construction, and will evolve over time along with the input of LOSSS officers.

We intend to provide an organization that will cater to those looking to enjoy their time in the ‘Verse. We welcome those looking for conversation of the goings-on in the world, for friendly chat over some adult beverages, or even just those looking to trade stories of their recent exploits. We will look to train the pilots within our ranks to excel in single combat, but to also work well as a coordinated group when we do venture out looking for our own fun.

Pilots will be expected to comport themselves as gentlemen (and women). We do not necessarily shun piracy, but conduct your business professionally in all matters. If you grief others, you will be forcibly expelled from the group after facing any discipline we may deem fit. Violence on group members will be dealt with in particularly brutal fashion.

Org members in-verse should render assistance to other members whenever reasonable. We are not a large organization, so we expect our members to hold their own in a fight, but do not ignore other members’ requests for assistance without compelling reason.

Charter

Basic rules:

- No minors allowed
- We reserve the right to waive your selection or terminate your membership if we determine your membership would not be in the best interest of the org (or we determine that you’re an asshole).

Why should you want to join our org?

- Friendly, jovial atmosphere in voice chat
- Option for more serious team play in matches
- Potential meetups in real life for good times/drinks (location dependent)
- Decent organization options for finding a friend for play in the verse

What behaviors are frowned on?

- Abusive behavior towards other players
- Griefing in the game
- Cheating
- Excessive argument
- Whining
